  Dinner review - food only average, service cold

  This is the sort of place where we've often had a surprising good meal. Sadly the food was disappointing although reasonable value. The main problem was the lack of humour of the person in charge of service, giving the impression that the guests were interfering with her evening.

  Pleasant stay in annex

  We were very pleased with our room, we stayed in one of the annex bungalows they even have a small patio with table and chairs. This was ideal for us as we have a small dog. Another plus was the fact you park your car in the grounds of the hotel. As we had travelled a long time the day we arrived we decided to eat at the hotels restaurant and had a very enjoyable meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful all in all we had a very pleasant two night stop over.

  Uncomfortable room, average restaurant.

  Our room was small and cramped. There was nowhere to hang anything, neither hooks nor a cupboard. The room overlooked what was described as a garden but is in fact a residents car park in what was originally the garden. The restaurant was average. Regrettably Fouesnant has not much to recommend it. We walked to the 'nearby' beach a good 2km along a steep path.

  Motel kind of stay

  It sounded like a nice appartment connected to the hotel but turned out a mini motel space of 20m2. Clean bathroom w shower/toilet but it couldn't be made smaller. Daily cleaning service. Terrass with plaatic table/chairs and parasol. Car parked in front. Breakfast of 9 pp additional is rather poor. Little choice of breakfast items and lousy coffee. McDonalds would do it better (but only opens at 10a) for less.

  Pleasant stay

  Hotel offers safe parking on grounds. Room was good, clean, quiet and spacey. Dinner with good choice of eather set menue or a la carte. Very good quality. Service in the beginning a bit gruffy, but got much friendlier after some time. Breakfast french average. Fouesnant itself not much to offer, you have to go to CapCoz or other places around.
