  Excellent overnight stay

  We stayed here on our way home from our French home. Sadly, we were the only guests, but this did not detract from the pleasure of our stay. We were given a most warm welcome, shown to our outside chalet type bedroom, helped with our luggage, shown where to park and given all the information we needed. Room basic, comfortable bed, but nothing lacking. Dinner was excellent. We have eaten in Logis de France for many years all over France and this was one of the best we have had - wonderful tastes, innovative and served by the lovely proprietor. The chef was a lady, and what a chef! Breakfast equally good.

  Pleasant Stay

  Very friendly reception, comfortable and clean rooms. Good wifi, lots of electric plugs for charging everything we travel with these days. Nice to have restaurant on-site as its a bit out in the country. Food was good for dinner and breakfast.

  Discovery

  Off the beaten track close to Pompadour this restaurant surprised us with the quality of the a la carte menu and a very friendly service by the owner. I aprecieted especially the delicate size of the portions and the possibility of changing the ingredients on the plate

  Creepy host

  We went to the restaurant as the food was recommended but nothing could have prepared us for the overly creepy host. At one time he touched my elderly mother one too many times and was far too familiar. He tried to sell the hotel to us and asked us if we knew anyone who wanted to buy it! All in all the experience was very negative solely due to the owner who obviously didn't want to be there and behaved inappropriately.

  Exquisite lunch at a very reasonable price

  Lunch today with friends. Really tasty and elegantly presented food, in charming surroundings. The 'Patron' was friendly, welcoming and very attentive to our wishes. The food was delicious. 3 course menus offered at 15.50,26,34, with cheaper options if only 2courses ordered. Plenty of on-site parking. Would definitely recommend.
