great location & helpful staffalthough we only stayed for one night, we LOVED the location. Auberge 32 is quite although in the Venter of old town. The owner helped us extremely with last minute changes and was there to welcome us when arrived. Tasteful rooms and nice environment

Quiet, Clean, Comfortable and Convenient LocationDespite us arriving past midnight due to a flight delay, we received a warm welcome from Stefano who spoke English very well and was efficient in dealing with us and briefing us on the necessary information required for our stay. Auberge 32 is sufficiently close to key attractions but far enough away to retain its calm ambience. The room was clean and comfortable and was equipped with a shower, wall mounted TV, air-conditioning unit , fridge and had sufficient power points for our camera and phone chargers. The room was cleaned daily and looked as fresh as it was on day one. A lovely gesture of a complimentary bottle of water on day one was provided. The breakfast provided by Olga was very generous. It consisted of cheese and ham toasties (advise Stefano in advance of breakfast if you are vegetarian etc and at what time you would like it, between 8-10 am), cereal, greek yoghurt with honey, french bread with apricot jam and coffee with a little teapot of milk. It saw us through to lunch time. We received the same breakfast every day, not a criticism but a small change,( i.e. different jam) could make the breakfast less repetitive. We chose to take our trays upstairs to the terrace where we enjoyed the sight and sound of the clock tower ringing - a truly romantic setting. Auberge 32 is a small intimate hotel and it suited us down to the ground. We got more of a personal touch from the hotelier, Stefano who is willing to share knowledge of the local area. If I find myself in Rhodes again, I would definitely return to Auberge 32 - it fulfilled all our requirements.

Well-located budget hotelThis tiny hotel, up one of the alleys of the historic town, is perfectly placed for exploring and enjoying local character. If you are trying to do this without paying heavily, Auberge 32 is well worth considering. Rooms are small but well equipped and the staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind. There is a roof top terrace with views across to the church towers, minarets and battlements. One of our rooms (the deluxe room on the ground floor) had a musty smell on occasion, but we were able to ventilate it and it wasn't a problem. The air conditioning was excellent. We stumbled upon the Rustico taverna, five minutes' walk away in Ippodamou. We strongly recommend this for good food at reasonable prices and lovely staff.

Wonderfully atmospheric little hotelAbsolutely loved staying at the Auberge 32 for our eight nights in Rhodes. We couldn't have found a better little place, hidden away in one of the maze of cobbled alleyways in the Old Town. It was so atmospheric, like travelling back in time but with all the modern comforts. There are only five rooms, and a rooftop terrace with a wonderful view. The location is very quiet, and even though the many restaurants and shops of the area are just a few minutes away we never heard much apart from the distant hourly chimes of the Clock Tower. Our room was smallish, but very clean and comfortable and there was a good-sized wardrobe, plus a tiny kitchenette. Breakfast was brought to our room every morning, and although it never varied it was enjoyable. The owner, Stefano, was extremely helpful and spoke faultless English. But I think the cherry on the Auberge cake is Kate, who looks after the rooms - such a lovely girl, always cheerful and obliging - she even came in at 7.30 am on Sunday morning to make sure we had breakfast before an early boat trip to Symi. Kate really made our holiday special and we won't forget her, nor our wonderful stay at Auberge 32.
