  Austin Powers experience

  A total Austin Powers experience from start to end. All decor is in a perfect 70's style. Room was ok, albeit pillows too small and there was a summerhouse smell to the room. Breakfast was ok, though they make you pay for coffee which I as a dane find very strange. Would only recommend staying here if other options are not possible - there's so many nice places in the vicinity.

  enjoyed our stay

  We spent one night here as part of a hiking trip organized by Horizons d'Alsace. The hotel has a central block plus some motel-like units back from the road. Our room was in one of the motel units. We had a large room with good air conditioning, good wi-fi and a modern bathroom. There was a large indoor pool across the parking area. Our hiking package included 3-course dinners; here they were generous with two starters, a main of veal stew in a cream sauce, some cheese, and an apricot tart. All well prepared and tasty.

  Very friendly staff and extraordinary hospitality

  This is really the kind of attitude I miss so much in big corporate hotels: a very personal handling making you feel valued and willing to return. I made the reservation by phone on Thursday because checking was untill 18'00 and I could not possibly reach before 23'00. They were immediately friendly and when I said probably it made no sense to take halfboard, they suggested to place a platter in the room. What a surprise when I arrived much later than 23. There was food for a whole army :) As I was late I overslept and at 9'30, I received a call that the breakfast buffet was going to close. Once more, they send a platter to the room. Excellent! Besides this I enjoyed the relaxing noise of the river that can be heard through the wall of the bedroom... Fresh air. The food in the restaurant was delicious and sophisticated. I only missed something more simple for my daughter who does not like sauces too much... Anyhow, I strongly recommend this place at only 30min of "Lac Blanc". Only minus point is that rooms are a little oldish.

  Amazing staff and delicious food!

  My husband and I stayed here as part of the hiking tour through Horizons d'Alsace. The hotel is right in the middle of town (we loved the town!) and had a very historic/charming feel. The rooms are basic and comfortable - ours in the main hotel had a wonderful patio overlooking town and the nearby hills which we loved. The food was very good and the staff there was the friendliest of all the hotels during our journey. They really have great customer service!

  Great location, friendly staff

  Beautiful site with the Vosges surrounding the hotel. We particularly liked the pool and Jacuzzi. The staff were friendly and professional. Our motel room included a sofa and also tea-making facilities, much appreciated. It was practical to park near the room.
