  Lovely and luxurious at excellent price/performance rate

  We (myself and a friend) spent one night in one of the spacious and exquisitely furnished double rooms overlooking the quiet courtyard. Everything from the soft pillows to the smart coffee machine in the room signals quiet elegance. The hosts (a couple) are charming and made us feel very welcome from the moment we pressed the doorbell. Our double room featured a small sauna and some rooms have a jacuzzi. Breakfast (French) is delivered to the doorstep, which adds a very personal touch. Only drawback would be that this part of Lille is a bit grey and deserted at weekends, but it's at walking distance from the city center and the charming old parts of Lille ("vieux Lille") . Loved it.

  Nice apartment in Lille City Center

  We had a nice family stay at this lovely apartment. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor with sauna and hot tub which was nice. Apartment was very clean, modern, contemporary and equipped with cooking facilities. There was parking on the street using the Whoosh app (parking location 4241) and costs about 24 Euros per day. I will definitely stay here again if visiting Lille as it is such a good apartment and walking distance to all main attractions in the city centre. A room for improvement will be to have instructions for the hot tub in English as we struggle a bit with the operations though was eventually ok. Also will have to remember to take insect repellants especially if leaving the terrace doors opened for a while as we had some mosquitoes. This is a general problem however and not a fault of the hotel.

  Simply stunning

  This is a superb apartment. Spacious, clean, inviting. The managers/owners could not have been more helpful. If I could give this apartment more than 5 stars I would. For those considering it seems to be stairs only but this was not a problem for us and we loved every second of our stay here.

  Working 9 to 5. They didnt know.

  GOOD THINGS: Friendly, helpful staff, who let us book in early. Clean and stylish rooms. LESS GOOD: Only has on street pay parking - which is a pain No lift - which is a pain No drinks glasses- which is a pain No ice machine - which is a pain No shower cap - which, with no bath, was a pain.

  Sublime. Excellent. Memorable.

  We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate a birthday at Au 30 and from the moment we entered our room (no.301) to the time we left we were 'aux anges". Everything is well thought out. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We felt really welcomed by the charming and friendly receptionist as well as all the other members of the Au 30 team behind the scenes. (They left us a cork screw & wine glasses for the bottle of wine we had brought without even our asking. It was a lovely surprise). We did not mention that we were celebrating a birthday so I guess they treat all their guests with great care and pay attention to detail. On visiting the town of Lille, all we wanted to do was get back to the room to enjoy the sauna, the calm and to relax. We truly did not want to leave. We travel a lot and this hotel is up there with the best of them. Thank you Au 30 for an excellent and memorable stay.
