  Nice, dog friendly, small hotell on the country side

  The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The staff very helpful and positive. The food was mediocre, quite typical german cuisine. Breakfast buffeé was great with lots of varieties, fresh vegetables and fruit, assorted cheese and cold cuts, eggs, sausages, meatballs, scrambled eggs, warm bread etc. Easy access to the highway. Osterfeld is a very small village with one shop, small "pub", a church and a castle.

  An Ok Hotel for One Night Stays - BUT NO AIRCONDITIONING

  The hotel is located conveniently close to the Autobahn when going through Germany, and it is only 1500 meters from the exit/entry to the Autobahn but not so close so the traffic is audible. The hotel have 149 rooms and the decor is typically German. What is NOT good is that they have zero airconditioning, no ventilation of any kind. This means that when the weather is hot, the rooms are even hotter. We will not be using this hotel again for this same reason - we had almost zero sleep as the room was piping hot. Breakfast is good and plenty, and the evening restaurant was also OK. Recommendation is that you 100% should avoid this hotel in the summer as the temperature in the rooms is disgustingly high.

  Very fair value

  What a surprise to find this place. It is just off of the freeway. My room was quiet and well postioned. The shower power was super. Easy and safe parking. Not much in the area, so you will need a car. The dinner was delicious. Service was a bit confused. All in all it was a nice stop in a clean and unique hote.

  Unfriendly & Misleading

  Don't go here!!!! Very unfriendly staff. Absolutely NOT 4 stars worthy. The shower was broken. The late check out was AGAIN not okay. The housekeeping was on the door while there was a 'not disturb' sign on the door and I warned the reception the day before. Because last year happened the same. In the book is said that there is roomservice and that the restaurant was open 1 until 3 pm. But both where CLOSED. Rude staff that barely speaks English told me this in a very angry way. This is ridiculous and we'll absolutely not return here.

  Average because of rude reception while checking out.

  The good stuff The rooms are newly renovated, looks like they merged 2 rooms into 1,even had 2 bathrooms.Really clean, had a good sleep. While check-in the guy on the reception was really nice,the service was really good.They had some Christmas dinner in the evening may be they had their best staff for the evening.Even we had the dinner and we enjoyed it. The bad stuff While check out the lady on the reception was really rude.We were standing there for check out,and they were checking out an older couple in front of us and it was all smiles and waves with them.Then she completely ignored us and started chatting with another lady standing in the reception with her.After couple of minutes we tried to get her attention by saying 'hi' and she just shushed us and continued chatting with her colleague.After waiting for some more minutes she took our keys and dismissed us in a really rude way.This was the weirdest check-out I have ever experienced. May be, if you are not a foreigner or will 'fit in' it's a good place for you.
