Superb Hotel and Location with Wonderful Food and StaffFirst of all, let me say this, I am shocked at the bad reviews because this hotel is just perfect Im every way! I will list why.. 1. LOCATION: I was initially worried about it being classed as Ayia Napa as I had never been to Cyprus and imagined it to be full of drunken teens. So wrong. This location is stunning. Took my breath away everyday. Access to the beach is a couple of minutes down a path and then youre swimming about in the most beautiful crystal waters on Glyki Nero beach which extends to become Pantachou beach. White sands and water sports and only a skip hop and a jump from the all inclusive bar which means you dont have to fork out on the beach for drinks or food. We would wander down, swim for an hour then head back. The bar has bottles of water to take so wed pack them in our bag because its scorching hot! From the pool and our room it was just beautiful blue ocean and blue skies. Total bliss. Its about a 15 minute walk to ayia Napa centre but we stayed mostly on site because it offered everything we wanted. Its roasting though so you may want to consider a taxi! FOOD: the restaurant was beautiful and clean and had the hardest working staff Ive ever seen. All so friendly and willing to help and make you feel very special. When I walked in I was so impressed by the space, the choice and quality of food. The food theme changes each evening. I loved all the fish and salads. The pool bars have a selections of foods to grab whenever you feel peckish. Yes simple like pizza or sausage roll and chips, but with 3 meals a day in the restaurant its just a quick fix. I love how there was always cold bottled water to grab. And on arrival we had sandwiches, water and beer in the fridge as it was late. Lovely touch! ROOM: what can I say, its beyond what I could have expected. We had a family suite just to the two of us with an extra room/lounge area and not only a balcony but steps up to our own decked area with loungers overlooking the sea. The bathroom was so big, modern and posh! Wish I could have taken it home! Air con worked perfectly and was so much appreciated! You have a good sized fridge and plenty of wardrobe space. Very clean and up to date. HOTEL: this hotel is lovely. It has a large family pool area with a bar and music where kids can use inflatables and then a short stroll away it has a quiet pool where kids are allowed just not with inflatables, and an adults only infinity pool which was bliss overlooking the sea. Loved watching the boats and jet skis go by and you can see the beach all round to ayia Napa harbour! Dining area is lovely and huge! The lobby is pretty and spacious and there is a lovely balcony off it for evening drinks. We found it very clean. The indoor pool has a lovely tropical feel and is calming and dark lit for a good ambience. STAFF: the staff on the reception desk are amazing, English speaking and can deal with anything you throw at them. Thank you so much. Made us feel safe and welcome. RETURNING: you bet! We are booked for this July and presume it wont go ahead but we are really hoping that we can move to August if everything will be open and running as usual. We cant wait to come back!!! And Im sure we will continue returning. Thank you so much.

My second homeI have a son in the Army, based in Cyprus, so I have visited countless times.. I have stayed at the Atlantica Sungarden with my five sons, my mother and her partner at least eight times. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everybody as it is my favourite place on the Earth. It could take my breath away every time I entered the foyer. The location is perfect. It is also very romantic for couples of all ages. My older sons enjoyed walking into town and I was confident that they were safe. The staff were professional yet friendly and accomadating to your every need. They never seemed to change over the years. Nicos, Andreas, Michael etc were like a second family to us. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well furbished with stunning sea views. The food was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. The beach is only about a few minutes walk from the hotel. White sand, crystal clear sea and water sports further down the beach. My Mum, sadly no longer with us, used to love her aperitifes and daily cocktails. My sons are all grown now but still talk about the Sungarden Hotel as it gave them fabulous unforgetable memories. I would have visited again this year but for the corona virus. I will be on the first plane as soon as it is safe to travel. Lots of love to Nicos and his incredible team .Hope you are all safe and well in these crazy times. See you soon.
