Ok for 1 weekStayed for 2 weeks at the beginning of October. Chose the hotel as adult only Sensimar away from the hustle and bustle of resorts in Cyprus. Food for 1 week was excellent, Restaurant Manager is a credit to the Hotel. We ate out for the second week for some variety and the choice to be casual for dinner. Bus service outside the Hotel excellent and cheap so easy to get out. As said before, lots of sun loungers available, however as said before alot are mouldy, and wet in the mornings,. Drink service around the grass area is excellent. John in the Pool Bar is also a credit, how he tolerates some people is a credit to his kind nature. Lounge bar is ok in the evenings, during the day a coffee is too much trouble. Bar Manager in the Evenings was miserable compared to the waiters and waitresses. He waited on the last evening for us and kept calling me darling.. Never spoke to me for 2 weeks! Room, ours was 101, was really quiet , yes the corridors are dated, yes the dog barked but we have dogs so no issue but our room was clean, spacious and met our needs well. One big thing to consider if like us you have not been before there are people who have been returning for years some 20 years, they strut around like they own the hotel (Mr Keo,constantly interfering with things....)reserving tables, dictating to staff about noise during entertainment? Entertainment is very low key but ok. We will return but only for 1 week.

Really Relaxing HolidayMy wife would have given it a '4' - I liked it more than that. We were there in mid-September for 11 nights - we hardly ever saw a cloud. Every day was sunny, so that always helps a review. Due to delays with flights, we arrived at 1am. I've never had this in all the years of travelling (but wish I had): Michael (who Registered us) stood us all together, and gave us the 'introduction'. He then distributed forms, most of which had been completed, for us to sign. We then handed them to him in return for keys, and then were shown to some food and drink, before going to bed. Really well done. The rooms were very good - large, comfortable bed, and enough cupboard space. The bathroom isn't large, but isn't small, either - just about right. The maid. Irina, was superb. After a day or so, she seemed to have worked out the time to do our room, and it was always done by lunchtime (except on days she wasn't there). She was very friendly, and often asked if there was anything we needed. The food for the entire holiday was excellent. From the buffet breakfast, to lunch and dinner, there was always plenty of choice (even for a fussy eater like me). Even though we were there for 11 nights, there was a large variety, and little repetition. The drinks service at the tables is very good. There is a 'Culinarium' with one visit per stay - definitely worth making sure you go to that. The drinks are very good - there is a large drinks menu, with lots of cocktails available. The waiter service in the Evenings is good - I was rarely sat without a drink for more than a few minutes. The pool, and particularly the pool bar, are very well run. There were Willi and Maureen (Williamson, I think) constantly going around the area taking orders. Willi always made sure people had bottles of water to drink (as well as anything else they wanted). The Entertainment and Activities Team were excellent; best I can remember, anywhere. They organised pool volleyball a couple of times, and there was aqua aerobics, but it wasn't done in such a way as to annoy everyone else. They also did a number of quizzes in the Evenings, before the Entertainment Act came on, which were very good. The Entertainment Acts themselves were all very good, with a number of tribute acts. It's not very quiet once the acts start (usually between 9 and 9:30pm - I did see a German couple asking for it to be turned down. I think the solution to that is to pick another type of hotel - everyone else there seemed to be really enjoying it. A couple of things I'd say: If you've space in your luggage, bring a couple of towels. You do get a 'towel card', but they're not the greatest, and you can only change them every second day. The electric sockets in the room we were in (317) were English 3-pin. I'd taken an adapter for European sockets to charge multiple electricals, so had to do them individually, instead. One of the very few hotels in Europe that I'd happily go back to.

Very comfortable hotelWe stayed for 2 weeks in October, shortly before they closed for the season. As with other reviews you will hear that the hotels decor is tired, yes, in parts it is, but this didnt distract from the comfort of the hotel. The rooms are fine, not outstanding, but servicable. If like us, you don't spend a lot of time in your room, then they are practical. Staff were all fabulous, from the check in at reception (Irena), they were always welcoming and helpful Staff in the pool bar were always friendly, delivering to your sunbeds was a bonus. Always plenty of sunbeds, no issues with reserving them in advance, apart from a few sad people. Having the beach close by was a bonus. The food was amazing, the staff worked tirelessly, it was of a high quality with lots of choice, at times it could have been a bit warmer, but it was of good quality. The entertainment was fairly poor if Im honest, the staff were very pleasant, Patricia, Jamie and Johanes. Once Patricia left, that was the end of the water aerobics, yoga and stretching etc, which was a shame as there was still 2 weeks of the season left. The lads had no indoor wet weather programme, which would have been good on the few days when there were storms and a captive audience in the inside bar, with nothing to do. The casino night was good, well organised and fun. The "acts" they had on, were pretty poor on the whole. We would go back to the hotel as we enjoyed the service and staff who made our holiday very enjoyable. Many thanks.

Lovely holdayWhen we arrived our room was on the first floor facing rage hotel reception, we asked if we could move for a more private room, the hotel reception accommodated our request and we moved to 412 a great room with a great view overlooking the beach. The staff were very helpful the rooms were very clean (daily) the pool was was always inviting, but best of all was the beach. The beach was very shallow, clean and you could always feed the fish with bread from the dining area. The food offered in the dining roomwas always tasty, hot and plenty of variety. We met many friends at the hotel, as the hotel provided a very friendly atmosphere. We ate at the alcarte on one occasion which was very nice as was the wine tasting. The hotel corridors need some TLC but overall a worthy 4 star hotel, the name on the tin describes to a tee, adults only and sensimar, we would return in a flash, thanks Sea Breeze.

Wonderfull staff and hotelWe celebrated both of our Birthdays at the hotel. The staff made sure we had a bottle of bubbly and cakes in the room for each Birthday. Also in the A la Carte restaurant they made efforts to help us celebrate. Thankyou. All of the staff were amazing. Made our holiday very special. Enjoyed the food with so much choice.
