Pues bien: Comida: All Inclusive standard. Muchas gracias Monika, estaremos eternamente agradecidos. Esperemos volverte a ver. Y Luca.

The most friendly hotelI cannot stress enough how wonderful this hotel is, from the moment we step foot in the reception we were greeted with a smiling face. We traveled with our 10 month old daughter who was a little gem on the first flight and they must have known because they upgraded our room to an appointment looking over the sea! While we were there I had a little accident of my own fault and the hotel were so helpful, they were checking up on me and bringing food to the room because Id fallen on my back. And its little things like that which really make you feel welcomed and cared about! I would 100% recommend this hotel, we hope to be back soon

Ideal family hotel, so much for kids to do (just a shame we didn't have any with us)Like many other travelers in mid-October we had to rearrange our plans to holiday in Turkey when it was put into covid quarantine and switched to this hotel at the last minute rather than stay at home. So as I write this review I'm mindful that this isn't a hotel particularly well suited to us as it's a family hotel through and through and we're a couple in our 50's. The hotel is not far from the airport it was the second drop on the Tui bus so we were that in 30 minutes. Only one other couple checking in so check in was easy. After check-in we could remove our face masks and only needed to use them again in the hotel to go in and out of the restaurant. Our room was lovely and actually had an extra 2 single beds. Plenty of room in the wardrobes, an in room safe (which cost 20 euros) and fridge that was stocked with water daily. We arrived pretty late, but a plate of food, fresh fruit and water were left in our fridge in the room for us which was a nice touch. The beds weren't that comfortable, but a mattress topper from reception fixed that. Bed linen was good quality and linen and towels were changed at reasonable intervals. The room cleaning team were always on the go. Some times the room was cleaned better than others such as the floor being left dirty which was a shame as they were usually good. Due to our own personal preference (which I'll go into later) we asked to move room during our holiday. We asked at reception and nothing was too much trouble. The change was arranged within minutes and we were very grateful. The new room was exactly the same as the first, just in a better location for us. The staff on reception are super helpful as are all the staff actually but Thank You Katerina for your efficiency always with a smile. The facilities for the kids are fabulous. The water slide park was fabulous for them as was the shallow water park for the younger kids. The kids club also looked to be well attended and the evening mini disco for the kids was always packed. The kids clearly loved the entertainment staff. I can recognise the great job they did it just isn't our thing but that's not their fault. During the day we set up around the upper pool which is a pool with soft music and it's own bar. The 3 circular pools there are all at least 1.4m deep so we thought it would be a more adult environment. But there were still children around every day. But the big issue I have with this is that there are no toilets around the pool. In fact there are no public toilets anywhere away from the main pool. This meant that each bathroom break meant a trek down the hill and up some stairs to our room and then back up the hill. It was fine for the first day but soon got draining, not least because the hill up to the upper pool is quite steep and I was out of puff every time. This is why we asked to change rooms. This I feel is where this hotel drops a point. Not having a public bathroom around a pool with a bar is asking for trouble if you know what I mean!! It's a basic facility. The even quieter pool which is located further on and down the hill also suffers the same. I must give a special thank you to Despina in the upper pool bar. She was there for every day of our 2 week stay and worked so hard running the whole thing on her own including changing barrels, collecting glasses. She didn't stop. What a star. Pool towels were available for a returnable 20 euro deposit. Well worth it. It was pretty easy to secure a sun bed, even when it got quite busy. A sign on them said they were sanitised every day, but they wasn't which was disappointing. The main restaurant is run extremely well. It was still a self service buffet but diners had to wear plastic gloves. Not great for the environment, but necessary at the moment. The manager Giannis keeps everyone in check and makes sure all runs smoothly. He also found time for a quick chat most days. What a lovely guy. The lovely Marios was great at the breakfast coffee station. He remembered our order every day and was very efficient and deserves an extra thank you. On our first morning I had a bad experience with the omlette. It tasted chemically and I wondered if some hand sanitiser had made its way into the food. It a little unwell after, but it was a one-off. For the remaining 2 weeks the food was great. It is typical AI food, but at the better end of AI. Not fabulous, not luxury, but what you would expect for the price paid. The selection was excellent. There was lots of repetition for example spag bol was available every night at the pasta bar. But we stayed 2 weeks and still found something different to eat. The night they have the beef brisket was amazing though. And the selection of deserts, pastry and ice-cream was very good. The staff work so hard to keep the dining room clean. There were plenty of high chairs around for the little ones. They would be busy swiping the food off their tray table and the staff would scurry around with the dust pan and bush but always with a smile. They loved the kids. The pool side restaurant by the main pool was also really good. They offer a limited selection for breakfast but it was lovely and quiet. Their burgers were fab. It converted into the a la carte in the evening. We booked in straight away but came away disappointed as only the appetisers were served. Everything else was buffet or go up and collect from the grill. It's a shame. It could have been lovely. We're not fans of the typical evening entertainment team shows you find in resorts, but they were well attended by others. in the evening we would something sit in the blue moon bar which is open until midnight. the sofas look comfy but they are so deep you either lay down or perch on the edge. Otherwise it is metal tables and chairs. I couldn't help thinking they would benefit from regular sofas. It was also a shame the music was often a bit "techno-rap" but you can't please everyone I guess. All in all we enjoyed our break. It was good value for money. The staff are superb. If you have children they will adore this resort as there is so much here for them. We knew the resort wasn't our usual adults/luxury break but we embraced what was on offer and enjoyed this resort and the Greek hospitality. Just a few tweaks like bathrooms around all the pools would make such a difference. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for your kindness and hospitality.

Last minute getawayStayed at this hotel as a quick alternative as we were meant to be going to Turkey but due to the restrictions had to cancel. This hotel was classed as a 4* but personally I would give it a 3*. On first impressions the hotel frontage and reception was fairly modern, clean and spacious. We were shown to our room by a very friendly member of staff. The room was basic. The bathroom in particular really needed upgrading. It only had a tiny bath with a hanging shower head. Really, do you know anyone that has a bath in a hot country? No complimentary toiletries other than a tiny bar of soap. There was no tea/coffee making facilities but I wondered if that was due to COVID restraints? The tv did not have ANY English channels (not even a news one) so we could not use that at all. The beds were good, clean and comfortable. In fact the cleaning was very good overall and that included all areas of the hotel. We had a small balcony that overlooked the pool. There was some nightly entertainment mainly geared towards children around the pool each evening. Our room had surprisingly good soundproofing we didnt hear a thing when we closed the patio doors. The majority of guests were German and the staff automatically spoke to us in German until we corrected them. The hotel had a few different pool areas but all of them really needed upgrading and were outdated and tired. We tended to either go down towards the beach where there was a much nicer pool or we hired a moped a few times and went into Rhodes town and to Lindos. The hotel beach was all stones and rocks so we didnt attempt to go in the sea. The main restaurant had a buffet and we found this ok with a reasonable choice each day. All the staff worked very hard and were all lovely and welcoming. There was also a pool restaurant open for lunches which was good for pizza, chips, salads and ice cream etc. We used the bar at the front of the hotel most evenings for a cocktail or two and to watch the sunsets. Overall for a quick getaway week in the sun it was fine. I wouldnt book this hotel again but I wouldnt say it was terrible. In my opinion if you have small children it would be good as most of the pool areas were best suited to children with slides etc but it was a good choice for going out visiting other areas as it was very central.

Experience of a lifetimeI came to Mikri Poli with my wife and our 2 year old daughter in October. We didn't have many expectations, we didn't think a 4 star hotel would be so perfect. But we were eventually wrong. From the moment we stepped our foot in the hotel, the lovely receptionist Sevi greeted us with such a big smile on her face and it was pretty obvious she wanted to help us in any way possible with our stay. As soon as we took care of our stuff in the hotel room, we headed for the main restaurant to grab our lunch, because we arrived at 1 o'clock and after 3 hours in the airplane we were starving. The restaurant manager Giannis was so good to us, so polite and helpful, along with the rest of the staff. There was one young man up there named Aris who was terrific at his job as a waiter, and always kept our table so clean whenever we wanted to dine in the restaurant. If you consider that he had dozens of other tables to take care of, he killed it, I was extremely satisfied by his service, he stood out for me, especially for his kindness and professional behavior. There are 3 bars in the hotel, unfortunately very crowded at that time of the year, but it didn't bother, neither me or my family. As we had a small child though, we couldn't get to spend so much time at the main bar, but it certainly lived up to our expectations. The main pool is amazing, the service by the two barmen Dimitris and Stavros was excellent, and the drinks were very tasty and we'll balanced. They were both amazing, tremendous professionals and humans. The one guy though who stood out the most for me was a tall young boy with glasses and a tattoo on his arm, I think he said his name was "Ponos" or "Panos". He was everywhere. At the restaurant, at the pool bar, at the snack bar, running everywhere like a mad man, but servicing everywhere with such a grit and passion for his job. I've never seen anything like that. Wherever we went we would just find him there waiting for us. So polite, so helpful and sweet, I bet he was a father as well, because he would always make our little girl happy with his smile and funny moves. Shout out to this young man for his work ethic and character. The snack bar was so smooth as well. There were three girls over there, all of them named "Irini" for some reason, probably the sweetest female waiters I've ever seen. Amazing at their jobs and so good to us, I hope I see them again in the future. On a scale from 1 to 10 overall, I would give a 10+ to this hotel. The staff, the services, the room, everything was perfect and suitable for a family like ours. I want to thank all of you for this great experience. I hope that I can come in your hotel this year as well and have a great time just like last year. Thank you so much.
