  Disgusting

  We went for my husbands 60th birthday, and I booked an oceanfront king suite. The picture on the website shows the wall is a sliding glass door overlooking the ocean with a banister you are able to see through. Our view was blocked by a pillar and the 2 foot wide balcony had a solid concrete wall. The view of the ocean was completely blocked unless you were standing on the balcony, which was not possible because of the mold covering the balcony floor and 1/2 inch from the solid stream of water dripping from above. The balcony was also covered in old cigarette butts. There was a quarter size blood spot on the headboard, and we had no hot water the entire weekend. After the first night we were told somebody would come to fix the issues, but upon returning to our room nothing had changed. upon check out we were comped one night stay, but on the receipt the only issue documented was blocked view. I have reached multiple times to the general manager to contact me and have not received a responses. The hotel obviously does not take cleanliness seriously, especially in the time of pandemic. If our room was properly cleaned none of this would have occurred.

  RetroFab Beachfront Stay

  I had my expectations set super low after reading some of these horrid reviews. Either the hotel listened and changed, or I had a totally different experience. We found the hotel old yet precious. I cant compare it to luxury hotels in other beach communities. Theres just nothing like that on Rehoboth. The Art Deco style was super cool. Our room was great. Staff was grumpy, so thats the reason for the 4 stars. They can fix that easily, however.

  Getaway 3 nights

  First time in Rehoboth Beach. Decided to go off season. Hotel room very clean. Beds very comfortable. Love the view from our balcony. We got the ocean view room. Weather was great. Sunny every day. Couple days were near 80 and the other days high 60s to low 70s.

  Birthday party at Sands

  I had my 50 th birthday party at the Sands. It was originally scheduled for mid March but the Rona post poned it. Joe was amazing in helping me through this. We had planned this for about a year and half once it finally happened. Joe was patient, helpful and calm. His calm demeanor kept me calm. Hahah. I appreciate the flexibility the hotel and Joe had in the reschedule. Joe was also very very responsive to every one of my emails. Always got back to me. The food was AMAZING for the two nights of parties and the breakfast was amazing the hotel did for us. We truly had a epic time and I want to thank again Joe , Donna , Nina and Craig for all their help the last year and a half. Could not have done this without all of you! Also the before and after party room 306 was great !

  Met Expectations

  We went for a couples weekend getaway. Had to be on boardwalk with ocean view. Their competitor was over priced. I couldn't use a travel agent as they weren't listed in their system. Upon checking in the staff was great. Very attentive, checked on some breakfast places for suggestions. Went above and beyond. Room was standard. It had coffee maker and a safe., but adequately maintained as expected with ocean air (salt) taking it's toll. We had an issue with noisy drunk neighbor. Walls were thin. Called to front desk and they had security up in 5 minutes and situation rectified. Kudos to the staff once again. Located within 1 block of main strip, but on the boardwalk. So it was a great location. I would come again.
