Very goodOverall very comfortable and enjoyable . The staff were efficient friendly and helpful. My only complaint was not enough parking space to off load. Could do with two spaces at least. Did manage to get secure private parking at extra cost behind the Hotel.

Very nice hotelAfter not staying at a previous hotel booked, we walked off the street to book into the Atlantic. The reception staff were extremely helpful and the rooms are spacious and clean. We were shown around and had breakfast which was lovely. Also has a pool and sauna which is great if the weather is not perfect to go onto the beach which is across the road.

Inflexible & RudeI booked 1 night at this hotel for my son and i as we travelled around France. Sadly our car broke down and i rang the hotel to say that we werer likley to be a day late as a result and could we nmove our booking by a day. They abruptly said no and then proceeded to tell me that i had also lost my money £200 and if i wanted to stay the following day it would be another £200. Thank you so much for addingto an already stressful situation

Great locationThis Hotel is located in a beautiful area, on the sea. We enjoyed our stay, however the found the restaurant is below standards we expected. The food is not great. I would stay here again for the very accomodating staff, great massage and beautiful views with the sea view from the room we booked but would not eat in the restaurant for dinner again.

A GOOD PLACE TO STAYThe hotel is situated just across the quiet road from the long beaches and the long promenade - le Remblai in a quiet area. Only a few km from the port de plaisance or town on foot. There is a regular bus service to the town centre for those who don't wish to walk. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are welcoming and very efficient. We chose a superior room - situated on the 6th floor which you have to acces by stairs from the 5th floor (indicated on their site). We had a small terrace with a magnificent view. The room, although not as big as expected, was very functional with a reasonably comfortable bed (a bar in the middle which could be uncomfortable at times). The bed linen was of good quality. A downside of our room is that there was a really high step up/down to get onto/out of the terrace which has no sunshades and only room for two low lounger chairs and a low table. Wifi access was free and very functional for normal surfing and the television was of a decent size. There is a good choice for the buffet breakfast, which is served around the interior pool, but if you don't want the smell of chlorine, you can carry your breakfast to the Sloop restaurant. Unfortunately, the bacon and scrambled eggs were not hot typical of buffet breakfasts! Parking is a real problem. We opted to pay 11 Euros extra for private parking which is 200m from the hotel and only holds 4 cars - if that! Parking in the area of the hotel is very difficult to find, even out of season. One thing that struck me as strange is that I was requested to pay the private parking fee in cash which I refused. The Sloop restaurant is excellent. I cannot comment on the spa since I didn't use it since you have to pass through the reception and bar in your bathrobe which is not discrete and in addition, despite paying for a superior room, access to the spa is an additional expense which, in my opinion is not worth the money for 1.30h access at 18 Euros per person. All in all, I consider this hotel a good place to stay compared to other 4-star hotels in the area in view of its relatively easy access to the town centre. Re the advice on choosing your room, if you opt for a standard double sea-view room you can be placed on either on the 1st or 5th floor (the latter the best option but you cannot choose in advance). The standard sea-view rooms have a small balcony. Whereas, with the superior rooms, you are guaranteed a fabulous view. In my opinion, its worth opting for a superior room.
