  Friendly service

  We stayed for one night over a busy week in September. We were limited with room availability and stayed in a basic coconut room. It was basic but very clean and comfortable. The room faced on to a main road, it was a little noisy and the curtain looked quite thin. I didn't feel like there was adequate privacy as I could see on to the street when the sun shined through. The concept is nice with shared spaces. We didn't manage to take advantage but I am sure it would have been pleasant. The service was lovely both at check out and check in. I would stay here again but given the option, would pick a room that was more internal to the property.

  Cozy stay

  We stayed for a week during school holidays and having only adults was great! We stayed in the Little Palm building which was clean and had a cozy feel. The common areas of the pool, lounges and fire pit of a night was a great way to unwind and meet other travellers. The building we stayed in was essentially one house with six rooms (each with own bathroom thankfully) but had a shared kitchen which was okay but would be nice to make a coffee in our room. A little more soundproofing would be nice as we could hear every foot step of other guests especially as they climbed the stairs. Our room had a little balcony which overlooked the grounds, fire pit and nature reserve behind which was lovely during the day but some thicker blinds to keep the light out would have made the stay a little more comfortable. All in all we enjoyed our stay and every single staff member made us welcome. Would definitely stay again when we visit Byron.

  So terrific!

  Thankyou for one of the best holidays I've had as a single woman. The fact that there is a little interaction at Atlantic makes your stay much friendlier and warm. Lovely room...the Tropical has a lovely balcony which I used...curled up with a book or entertaining friends one afternoon. Loved the pool and the shared kitchens...Loved the friendly meetings around the fire pit over a glass of wine. Loved the art..love that you collaborate with local artists. Loved that it was 3 minutes walk to everything including the beach. My daughter is already booked in and I'll be back. Thanks...very well done.

  Nice Hotel but few issues spoilt it.

  A nice hotel deck out with great communal kitchens. Staff are friendly especially Tommi. Our room was quite small but nice but unfortunately the lack of dark block out curtains did not help and had a sleepless night. Too much outdoor light was coming into our bedroom at night and didnt darken the room enough to sleep. The curtain we had was very thin and transparent and we could see out so most likely people could see in at night when lights are on so no privacy. Not a great thought. Also noise coming from the two bedrooms on either side of us lets just say there was a lot of banging, which sounded like the beds banging on the wall which really became loud and frighting when trying to sleep (there is no bedheads on these beds in this room type) and for sure the walls are paper thin. We requested to move to another room which was good. We moved our food from one fridge to another and then moved our luggage into our second room. When we came back to our room and wanted to cook dinner we noticed that our food was gone. The housekeeping removed our food that we were supposed to have for dinner. We were not happy about this at all and called after hours staff. It turns out staff took our food thinking it was from previous guests so obviously there was NO communication between housekeeping and reception. We eventually got our food back and cooked dinner but by this stage we were annoyed. It should not of happened. Also what was frustrating that we got a call asking when were checking out our room after the first night but we were booked for 2 nights and had two separate bookings which they knew about but still got the unnecessary call. Once again lack of communication or record keeping, Parking here is free but very tight. Pool was refreshing. Resort is close to beach and shops and restaurants. This is a nice hotel, decorated beautifully but unfortunately the issues we experienced did not warrant an "excellent" review.

  Second time staying here- loved it just as much.

  Great stay- thank you to all the staff. Particularly the garden/ maintenance staff- very friendly and had some good chats. We love staying here. It is our second stay in February (last time 2019) and we will be back. We love the following: location (2 min walk to everything we needed), styling of rooms, amenities (iron, washer, dryer, umbrella, surf boards, bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, cooking facilities), the pool & gardens are stunning. All the guests are respectful and pleasant to speak with. The staff are also fantastic. It is so quiet- my partner and I both commented on this. We find the Atlantic so relaxing. It has a very special place in our hearts and memories. Highly recommended.
