  Average Guest House

  Tried Athol as an alternative to the more popular guest houses near the airport. Its fine if you want to visit Sandton area but not suitable as an Airport flight connection overnight. Took a while to get used to the security, having to remember code to get in and out. Room was comfortable and breakfast good

  Tranquil, convenient and secure

  We had a wonderful three night stay at Atholl Guesthouse. - lovely spacious room, extremely comfortable bed and bedding. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. The breakfasts were served just outside our room at a time we chose we had cereal, yogurt, fruit, toast and an amazing omelet. Atholl Guesthouse is in a quiet upmarket suburb of Sandton, and yet within walking distance from Atholl Square, a very trendy and convenient shopping centre. We were very happy to see that Atholl Guesthouse offers secure covered parking. We appreciated the digital code system to access both the property and our room no need to bother with keys! Atholl Guesthouse is both a welcoming and very convenient place to stay if visiting the Sandton and northern Johannesburg areas.

  Value for money

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The room was comfortable and relaxing, and it was close enough to catch an Uber to my meetings in Sandton. I will definitely come stay here again in the future. Thank you for the experience and the convenience.

  Very luxurious and homely

  We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Atholl Guesthouse in August. It is comfortable, beautiful and we could have great family breakfasts as there is more than one breakfast area. The underfloor heating was welcome on the cold Winter's nights. Thank you very much Megan!

  Stunning little establishment

  The guest house is tucked away in a residential area, with no traffic disturbances yet right on the doorstep of Sandton. Beautiful spacious rooms, lovely bed and all the necessities one would need. The breakfast is simply to die for, tasty and very filling, you certainly don't go hungry. I am yet to finish it (and I have stayed here 3 times already). The staff are just amazing and friendly and nothing is a problem for them. Excellent service!
