    NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN.

    At first I believe comments here and decided to stay here but I found the staff were completely no-friendly, even without say hello, no smile, took long time to confirm my reservation, and even they doubted I was a non-booked guest. My room was no-window and had foul smelling. Sink was with many long hairs and the hole was filled with small rubbish. I though they were by previous guests but by years-ago-guest. After coming back from the market, a boy lying down at the dining area asked me without smile "Are you staying here?" Later, I found he is one of the staff here. I was nothing explained about breakfast and l asked until what time. But a staff deep thought for a minutes. Then she asked another staff then told me it's until 10 o'clock. When I was in my room, a staff came to ask me to talk her phone. The talking woman was the owner and asked me that she couldn't find my booking record. Then a staff came into my room then took a picture of my booking record from my PC. I though they didn't care about guests records. Not only me, but also they searched the records of other guest. Buffet breakfast was horrible. Although more than a few staff were around me, they never take care of me, no-explanation how to make a cup of tea, which is hot water, where is milk (no milk after all, they searched milk in all cabinets around the dinning room), cups were dirty... After all, I had no appetite at all. After check-out the next day, at the parking area I met an old Thai couple who stayed at "AT CASA" on the day before my staying. As I said to them that I stayed "AT CASA" then, they said to me that they felt "AT CASA" was not well managed. Our feelings were the same. Staff were unfriendly, terrible breakfast and dirty room. The couple changed the guest house on the next day. After all, staff never tell me "Hello", "Thank you" or "See you" as well as they never gave me a smile and welcome greetings when I checked in. Owner was not here. The staff tended to phone somewhere else and had a long talks. Or just lying down on the floor mat in the dinning area. Or doing mobile games. Staffs don't speak English. Full of no-welcome atmosphere for the guests in this guest house. I paid THB1,500. I thought it is terribly expensive. I found much better guest house when I walked the market. I decided that I will stay there next time. I wondered why this "AT CASA" is such a high score in Trip Advisor? I never stay "AT CASA" again.

    Charming oasis

    We heard all the reviews and decided on this little place close to the Amphawa floating markets. It was a great choice indeed. Rooms where well appointed and clean. AC worked brilliantly and the breakfast substantial. More than anything though is it's position on the water and the lovely tables and quaint seating they have where you can really chill out at any time of the day. It's a short walk to many food outlets and boats selling food for immediate eating. Our personal disappointment was we were expecting the style of markets where boats came and bought and sold amongst the locals for their groceries and own businesses not focussed on tourists. I believe nearby are other markets but my husband was too sick for us to explore on our short two day visit. We loved the old ladies coming and selling eggs to the Accomodation by boat. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Make sure you take an interpreter phone app as you might find it handy for hotel staff.

    Nice location but poorly maintained Guesthouse

    I've been to Amphawa many times and love the location of this guesthouse. It's right next to the canal but I was very disappointed about how poorly maintained this guesthouse was. At the first glance it looks clean but the rooms or rather the wall papers were falling apart and there were water stains which looks like mold. I travelled with a group of friends and they also had a bad experience as one of my friend got bitten by ants in her room. The staff weren't caring nor thoughtful about the problems when we asked them to change the bed sheets, overall they didn't seem to care.

    Horrible Nightmare

    2 2 1 500 The rooms are very rundown and need big maintenance. Staff , food and bar are lovely In room you will only get 2 soap , two bottles of water and towel. There are TV and Fridge that's it. No hair dryer no shower cap no shampoo. Not worth or money. I'm very disappoint and felt embarrassed coz i host from friend from USA

    Like stay at home

    One night here make me and friends special like stay at home. Good take care from the owner, the place side the river. Wake up in the morning we can make merit by offering food to monk. Special day special night good farewell.
