  Very well equipped but a car is essential

  I am staying at Astrofegia in one of the studios. Lovely and very well equipped, so much so that I actually cooked a meal last night which I never normally do. They are quite remote,although in a village there's very little here so a car is needed. Great wifi and lovely views of the mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The owners are really helpful but not intrusive.

  car essential but brilliant location

  Apartments are located 15-20 mins from Polis on the main road and the ones we stayed in were beach front.Very spacious;air conditioned with front and rear terraces on the ground floor apartment which we rented.The kitchen was better equipped than our own! However you will need to bring your own consumables such as oil,salt and pepper etc. What is outstanding about this place is its isolation from the tourist areas giving you a real break.You will need a car.Wifi is provided free of charge and there is plenty of space for parking.If parking infront of the downstairs apartment watch out for the step that juts out -I managed to bang the front bumper of the rental!!!

  Great stay

  Perfect for our trip, we were attending a family wedding and the apartment was very close to the church and venue. Very clean and tidy everything you could possibly need for your stay was in place, good parking,the sea opposite and the mountains behind us. The coast line is wonderful but a car is essential. Would definitely stay again.

  Great small apartments in a good location

  Very nice small apartment with balcony and kitchen areas. Kitchen has everything we could need and much more. There was a great big fan on the ceiling, and water heater, and air heater, and air conditioning, and everything. And lots of power outlets - more than we needed, even though we didn't manage to make some of them working (we should turn a nearby switch on, but that wasn't that obvious). When we arrived, there was a good sparkling wine and lots of small tasty stuff awaiting for us. The hostess was really friendly and have us some useful advices. And presented us a delicious watermelon... Location is, probably, the best in the area. Not many people around, though a good bakery is in just a few minutes walk (ask the hosts for directions), and a few good restaurants ain't far away. There are lots of GREAT beaches in the area, though I'd advice you to go to the Paradise Beach - if you aren't afraid of 5-minutes walk down a narrow path. There were some minutes too, though. Some lamps didn't work. Some power outlets seemed not working either, but they really did work - we just shouldn't be shy and had to ask our hosts about them. The biggest problem was Internet connection - it didn't work at all :( but our hostess said it was a global problem in the whole area.

  A short stay on a budget

  The hosts are very nice and likeable people, always willing to assist. The location is peaceful and convenient for exploring the whole region from Paphos to Pyrgos by car. Every room has its own parking spot for free, wifi works well. It's fairly clean, although cleaning could be more thorough, new appliances needed, as many of the existing ones (e.g. toaster, coffee machine) are worn-out or dirty and unusable - we only used the microwave and kettle and brewed our coffee in the teapot. Maybe replace some of the furniture as well... Our sea view was actually a "side sea view" obstructed by other buildings. Considering the low price and the fact that we did not spend much time in the room, this apartment offered everything we needed for our short break.
