  beautiful hotel

  I was on a business trip and the agency made a booking for me in this hotel. Its really great hotel, you can find here everything you need during stay. Its close to the old center, the bus stop is near. From the balcony, you have amazing view (see my photos). The rooms are spacious, clean, the bathroom very very nice. The personnel do not speak English quite well but they are ready to help. When we explained at the reception desk that we have to catch an early train, they even gave us the drive to the train station. So, very friendly, and also the food was great!

  Wedding party stayed at the Hotel Astoria July 20-August 1, 2016

  We had an international wedding of approximately 60 people from 13 countries that stayed at the Hotel Astoria for a week and a half. They were very attentive, the rooms were absolutely wonderful with good air conditioning and amenities. The hotel provided a fantastic breakfast spread, including a juicer for fresh fruits from the area. The Hotel owner Guido prepared a very inexpensive apertif dinner with champagne the night before my wedding and a paella/karaoke evening upon request. Tiziana was extremely helpful making sure all the guests were taken care of and did not have trouble getting to the hotel from Porto San Giorgio or the Ancona airport. The hotel staff was helpful and provided great suggestions for the area all all the patrons needs. They also made sure we had many options for lodging for the guests. It was as close to staying with family as you can get! Also, this has one of the best views that overlooks the countryside, Adriatic Sea, and the Sibillini mountains. Thank you so much for an amazing unforgettable experience. Can't wait to come back to visit!!! We love Fermo's hospitality so much!

  Very disappointed

  I travel a lot for pleasure and stay in many nice hotels, this is not a nice hotel. I cannot recommend it at all. Whilst the hotel is in a good central location in Fermo near the square and cathedral it was very difficult to find parking near the hotel. On arrival there was not a warm welcome from the reception staff, and we had to wait a long time to get checked in. We were given a key to a room on the 2nd floor but no directions to the room. After walking two flights of stairs with our luggage in the heat, we realised our room was two floors below reception, it would have been nice to have been told this. Our room was very ordinary and disappointing, a decent size and functional bathroom but tired and scratched mis-matched furniture and a hideous mural of an eye on the wall. The view however was good, as were the electronic blinds. The room was clean. Breakfast was acceptable. However my biggest complaint is what the hotel charged me. I made a reservation in writing by email for two adults for one night in a double room and on departure they told me the rate quoted was for a single adult in a double room and charged me another 50% on top. I have complained but it was not resolved. I do not accept such dishonesty. I will never stay at this hotel again.

  Very terrible

  The owner was very tribe and greedy. She hold my passport and dint give me till I checked out. Increase my room rate from 70 to 100. Very bad owner but very friendly staff.beware of the owner.wicked.

  Wonderful location, good services

  We stayed 3 nights in one of the suite. Thise rooms are renovated and cery comfortable, with fantastic view. Good quality bed, several type of pillows, nice lighting system from warm ponctual lamps to full cold light. Electric Shutter is there to keep the darkness in morning. We saw some rooms in the upper part of the hotel, they are quite old-fashioned. There is a huge terrasse with view from the sea to the mountains. The restaurant provide excellent food and the breakfast buffet is very complete. All staff is friendly. Very good experience.
