Once you are in Nur-Sultan stay in MarriottMore or less I liked this hotel. There were some negative moments, but I don't want to mention them, actually. I would really like to say about positive aspects of this hotel. First of all, it is food. I really loved my breakfasts in Marriott. It was just delicious! Second, the room. It was always warm which is great for me. And the bed was so comfortable. I was sleeping like a child. And, finally, the location. This hotel is situated right near the famous trading center. So, if you need some shopping just go ahead. It takes 5 minutes by walk. Thank you very much, Marriott!

What an amazing stay at the Astana Marriott.I really like the location of this hotel, on Dostyq street. It is within a short walking distance to the Khan Shatyr and Asia Park malls. It is also within a reasonable walking distance to the Beyterek Tower and other sites. The hotel is definitely very comfortable and upscale, and the two room suite that I had, was very spacious and nicely appointed. The facilities of this hotel were really good. They have a nice fitness room and indoor pool. The executive lounge had a decent food selection of light bites during the evening hours, and the food served at Aroma restaurant at the lobby level was quite good. The staff at this hotel was definitely top notch. Every need I had, they met and gave extra effort to make sure my needs were taken care of. Whether it was the front desk, executive lounge, fitness room, or housekeeping staff, they were at the top of their game and were warm and hospitable. I especially want to thank Nikita from the front desk. I had a need that weren't related to my stay at the hotel, but required extra effort and time to fulfill, so I could go to the right place in the city to have my specific needs met(finding a money exchange in Nur-Sultan that converted Uzbek Soms to Tenge). He made a lot of phone calls, and arranged for me to take a taxi there. He put in a lot of time and effort to make sure that everything went smoothly for me, and that shows a lot of dedication and devotion on his part. It was because of Nikita that I was able to get what I needed done. It wouldn't have been possible without him. People like him, are what makes a hotel experience great. Please give him the best commendation, acknowledgment, and thanks on my behalf. He deserves it! I had a wonderful stay at the Astana Marriott. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm visiting Nur-Sultan.

Respect for CostumersThis Hotel in 1 word is costumer open minded d they show you respect and attention. Important for me is that a hotel is your place home when you travel so you can relax . The Marriot group should take example from the Astana staff how to do it the right way !!! Specially for their USA side !!! So yes well done

Good Hotel but Service IssuesI stayed at this hotel for two nights during a business trip. Hotel is a standard 5-star hotel for its level, nice rooms with nice city view. However, when one pays this much money to a global chain, expects a bit more. The restaurant on roof top (27th floor I believe) was closed for both nights for private events. How can you not allow your guests use the facility, if that is one of the attractions of your hotel? A lady let me look around nonetheless, but told me the place was booked for private events on both nights, so I could not dine. Furthermore, I asked for a taxi to the airport, and the driver tried to rip me off. Having the language challenge, I tried to contact the hotel to help at least with translation, and no answer. I would expect a taxi booked through the hotel concierge not to rip me off! Driver was also driving recklessly, speeding and racing with other vehicles, so much so that I had to shout at the driver to stop if he was to drive like that. You are better to use ride share apps for any trip in this country. Reception staff were kind, even the bellboy spoke decent English (welcome change in the country). You probably better off with another establishment when you stay in this city.

UninspiringAnother Marriott that is probably five star in rating but I find to be uninspiring in practice. However the staff are pleasant and English speaking. One noticeable outstanding achievement are the incredibly soft bed sheets.
