  Unlist this hotel - I almost died.

  The ENTIRE CEILING FELL less than a meter before I entered the room. I was terribly lucky. We asked to move rooms and had to ask the see the manager who came the day after; hell see what he can do about a full refund we requested. We were very calm and nice when speaking to them all. And then another manager came the day after (again, had to be pushed to come) and was extremely unapologetic and tried to be right in the situation, it was unbelievable. They offered us free airport transfer valid for this weekend. We werent even going to the airport that weekend and they didnt care at all. We overlooked the rundown rooms, dusty and stained surfaces, broken furniture and just overall lack of any care for the room; but this was so insulting. I could go on about more ridiculous mistakes they made but its pointless. You just need to know how scary this place really is and how absent-minded the management are about it. The reception staff were sweet to us and more apologetic, thats about it. Im disappointed that this place is still listed on trusted booking websites. Just look at that one picture I attached haha THIS PLACE IS 100% CANCELLED ugh

  This place is terrible

  To put it bluntly, this place was disgusting! We were in villa 114 it was an experience but not a good one thats for sure. I knew things werent how they appeared online as soon as we arrived and were told to choose our breakfast out of an old and crusty folder but this was just the start of our problems. It was a very hot day and we were hanging to go for a refreshing swim in the pool that didnt happen because the pool was murky and warm. The deck was not in good shape and the pool chairs were old and sticky. EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING was stained! Bed sheets, towels, seats, cushions, walls and even the toilet seat! I honestly did not want to touch anything because it all felt dirty. I ended up sleeping on top of the sheets with my own dressing gown on and using my travel pillow as a barrier between the bedding and my skin because I was worried I would get a rash or something. The next morning our breakfast came wrapped in plastic, the yoghurt was warm and there were dirty marks on the cutlery. We did not accept breakfast the other days we were there. Luckily there is a great café across the road. In terms of the bathroom all I can say is disgusting. Here are some reasons why: Upon arrival there was someone elses hair in the basin The toilet seat was stained The floor bath mat was dirty The water did not come out of the shower head properly because of what I assume was a calcium build up The shampoo and body wash was dispensed through a dispenser attached to the wall There were stains on the shower floor We were set to stay at Astana Batubelig for 4 nights. We only stayed for 2 because of the filthy state of the room made us feel uncomfortable. We were in Bali for our wedding anniversary and the communication between us and the staff at the villa wasnt great from the get go anyway so in all honesty we could not be bothered arguing with staff regarding getting a refund for the nights we didnt stay there.. Upon arriving home I contacted the booking company (Cantik) who provided us with a refund. I had to contact them as Astana Batubelig stopped replying. If this place had a renovations and a big clean up done it would be okay as its in a great location. Moral of the story, dont stay here cause its gross.

  The worst place i have stayed in my entire life

  Me and my best friend almost died from this unsafely hotel because of the ceiling FELL literally the whole ceiling fell ! Then after what happened no one came to us. We had to ask to see the manager which he came the day after after we had talked to the manager he told us to wait to see what he can do then by 10pm no one update us anything so we had to go to the front desk to ask for an answer then the staff told us that they will just give us free airport transfer which we didnt belive it so we asked to see the manager again, then the next day the other manager came we didnt believe what the staff told us but then she confirmed it that what all they can do is to give us free airport transfer and it is only valid on that weekend which we wern't even going on that weekend. This is obviously ridiculous the manager was super unprofessional in her job and super impolite. She said it was "OKAY" about what had happened.. this is completely unbelievable i couldnt believe she said it was okay with our lives. PLEASE DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. NOT WORTH RISKING YOUR LIFE !

  Getaway

  Beautiful and very private.. Away from the hustle and bustle but only a short walk along the beach to Seminyak.. Breakfast delivered every day in the time you choose. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms always cleaned and pool maintained.. highly recommend

  Awful. Photos very outdated

  We booked this hotel as reviews were really good. We were extremely disappointed as photos were clearly taken when first launched and not a true representation. Awful, awful, extremely dirty and clearly infested with mice. Only positive is that staff are very friendly but hotel as such..... dont do it.
