A wonderful way to experience the Grampians

An amazing location to experience to the Grampians, this is the complete opposite to Halls Gap. The owner is extremely knowledgeable on bush walks in the local area, recommending Mount Stapylton which is a must for anyone staying in the Grampians. The lodges are comfortable and the kitchen is equipped. The location is awesome and this is a definitely the highlight.

    Worst accommodation ever

This was the most disgusting, sub standard accommodation. Lodges dirty, broken toilets, broken tiles in shower and you had to hold shower rose up when showering. Communal eating facility dirty, food left in sink. Crockery and cutlery left out for covered in dust, all this left out for the possums and mice to run over. Linen on beds dirty and smelt musty. Cockroaches running across the beds. Would never recommend this place. Advertised at $72 and we were overcharged by $10 a night.

    Worst Accomodation EVER

Room was very outdated and dirty had a musty dusty smell to it. The room itself lacked maintenance and facilities. There was no utensils drinking water refrigerator TV tea & coffee making facilities. As all that was available in a communal parklike shelter which was open to all bush critters and lacked hygiene. All catering had to be done by yourself, however if you had not been advised to carry your own supplies, then there is nowhere to get anything. The advertised breakfast (inclusive in the price) was a communal box of cornflakes and possible access to an open carton on milk in the fridge. Advertised price per room was $70 but we were charged $84 and $104 per night. A charge of over 20% more. During our 4 night stay the room were not serviced at all and no towels. Look for somewhere else.

Love the funny stories by Steve Price n company of the 3 lovely resident dogs. Our first experience with the boomerangs in the open airfield. No WiFi so its jus you, your companions n the nature. A priceless experience !
