  An overnight stay.

  Excellent room, recently decorated and updated. Attentive staff, helpful and efficient. Good quality breakfast. Easy to find on the main road and good access with parking. Shame there was no dinner available but other restaurants available within walking distance. All round a very good experience.

  Lovely hotel

  This was our second stay here as it 10 minutes to Pirbright. Lovely clean, tidy hotel with attentive staff. We booked direct with the hotel, so breakfast was included. We ate in the restaurant both times and the food is very good. Would definitely recommend

  Excellent stay

  Only stayed at this clean and welcoming hotel for one night, but can highly recommend. It only has 16 rooms and we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a deluxe 4 poster room. The room was spacious and very clean, in perfect condition. The bathroom beautiful, with great shower! Mind you we gave up after 5 minutes of trying to get hot water from the tap at the wash basin! The hotel is boutique style and has a lounge where you can chill out and make use of the honesty bar which had quite a large selection of drinks to choose from. They do not offer evening meals on a Friday, but there is a large pub a walk away which offers a great menu. Breakfast at the hotel was great and not too over the top ( no cakes/pastries which are always a bit too much but too tempting not to try!!!) It is a 15 minute drive into the centre of Guildford for those not wanting to stay in the heart of it.

  Warm and friendly

  Staff are very friendly and efficient, the room was warm and the bed very comfortable. Our basic room was very smart but very small, nowhere to put a suitcase and the tea table was small, collapsible and only just reached the plug. However, breakfast was superb and we enjoyed the view over the lovely garden. We have visited several time now and will be here again soon!

  A great stay in difficult times

  We stayed at the Asperion Hillside for one night this past weekend as part of my wife's birthday celebrations. It was unfortunate that the hotel had needed to close the restaurant due to the chef being ill (the right decision in these times) and the staff at the hotel were very apologetic and helpful in suggesting other local venues to eat. The room was very comfortable, the shower was great (once I worked out which button to press) and the breakfast service was just the thing to get the next day started.
