  Was ok nothing brilliant

  Located centrally in town, nearby eating places and shops are plentiful and its a short walk to the waterfront. The room was clean. Appointed ok for this price range. Cable tv and wifi, though the tv signal varied from channel to channel. Wifi was ok. There is a lift for room access. Breakfast was included but its basic and if you want extra outside the set meal option then you pay. Staff were generally helpful but i found reception staff to be not so and somewhat officious. Perched on bar stools behind the desk they never stand to serve you and it makes it hard for them to look you in the eye. Its an ok hotel, I would consider again if in Tacloban.

  Stayed here last week. Went to visit my grandmothers which is 3hours drive away from Tacloban. I was looking for a quick overnight stay hotel where it is close restaurants and airport. This hotel is right in the town centre. And if you are like me who likes to explore a little of the locals and love Jollibee, then this is the hotel you can stay. Due to our early departure the next day back overseas, we were not able to have the breakfast included in our rate. But I was so eager and keen to have the Jollibee. We arrive arrived evening. The check in was quick and no fuss, which is a plus when you are hungry and wants to freshen up asap. The front reception is clean. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. The room size is quiet small but descent enough. Clean and tidy. Aircon is good as well. Bed is comfy. Bathroom is clean. Interior overall in the room is not bad. Quiet area surprisingly knowing this hotel is right in the middle of the centre. Bank and ATMs for international cards and restaurants just few meters away. They offer airport transfers too. Took only 10mins from hotel to airport. Overall, our quick stay here is really good. I would definitely come back and stay here if i have the chance again. This hotel is great for balikbayans. Affordable, location wise and very convenient. Thanks Asia Stars Hotel!

  Pillows Galore

  The check in was great and was allowed to check in early. The ladies were very friendly. Room was good size with comfy bed, good air conditioning, many pillows on the bed and was plush and thick. Water pressure and hot water was great. Location was hard to find but many local restaurant around and banks, local stores etc. Parking was ok since we had a motorcycle. Would definitely go back. Didn't stay for breakfast due to early departure.

  friendly staff and accomodating..service is okay,. the room is okay and clean.. they have shuttle service going to airport, you have to request for it..the breakfast is okay,their food was good and delicious..thanks

  The hotel is located in the city center which for me is A1. Rooms were ok, with fast lift, friendly staff, free breakfast, cable tv, wifi, phone, clean sheets w new towels, w toothbrush, paste but the bathroom has NO bidet-very bad!
