  Terible experiance....worst hotel in kumarakom....

  I visited hotel with my friends. On arrival i found there is no bell boy to carry luggage.....rooms were no way near like shown in photos of hotel website.....very dim lights..... no light in corridors.....no proper tolitries were given.... shampoo was diluted big time....i ordered 2boiled Egg and they brought 4. When i asked to return they simply said no. Said the bill is generated and it wont be cancelled. Same they did with dinner..... Only 1waiter is there in this big so called 4star hotel And complimentry break fast only has poori nothing else not even bread toast butter. Quality of food also sucks big time..... Had a poor and bad stay at hotel...

  Diamond in the rough.

  We were driving down the road from Kottayam and happened to stop for a beer and discovered this delightful restaurant at this place. After the beer we stayed for dinner . Very good food, served by attentive waitstaff made our day. We were so pleased we decided to dine there next day. . We picked our menu and asked if we could come an hour and half before their scheduled opening time of 7:30 pm. They accommodated us with a memorable meal next day! Looking forward to our next visit to Kerala to dine there again.

  Wrost hotel

  No Drinking water supplied in the room and food is costly and the quality of the food is not up to the mark , there is very less option of choice in breakfast only puri vaji is available. Room is good. It will also take too much time to delivery the ordered food.

  Somewhat Okay!

  Why they are not providing complimentary water? Maybe they forgot that. But the rooms and ambience is also average. The food also, staffs are friendly and cool, thats the only positive in this property.

  Unpleasant stay.

  The Rooms were clean and the breakfast food was good. Except this, everything else was a big flop. The Water in the pool wasn't changed for days. The water in the bathroom too was mud coloured. The restaurant manager was arrogant and unwelcoming. Even after paying for a room for 3, they didn't give us an extra bed or pillow. For buying a Mineral water of 20Rs, they charge you 47Rs because they say it's a 4star restaurant. It never is more than a 2star restaurant taking into consideration their service and quality of stay. The building doesn't have any view of the Kumarakom backwaters too. Almost all 4star restaurants give you a Wonderful Breakfast buffet. These people charge you 150Rs for the breakfast with limited choices and the breakfast is limited to 3 chapatis. The bathroom was clean, but the glass of the bath section was rusted and fell off on a touch, luckily I caught it before it fell on the floor. They should revise their policies, quality and service. They are making a bad impression for all the star hotels. Instead of staying at this so called 4star concrete building, stay at a better place near the waters. Disappointed.
