AVOID - Glorified HostelI have stayed in countless hotels all over the world and I have never had one to call me THREE times to ask me was I actually going to show up for the room I had booked. Upon arrival at 8:10 PM my girlfriend and I struggled to find the front door as there is no clear reception area. As it turns out, the entrance is through the Italian restaurant attached/ in the hotel. When we finally found the front door we were surprised to see that it was fully locked up. Eventually a member of staff came to the door, opening it and asking are you the guy we were calling? I was then told that payment had been taken for my room without my permission seeing as on this app and their website it CLEARLY states that payment is to be taken AT CHECKIN and NOT BEFORE. The member of staff then went on to say that the whole hotel was waiting on me to arrive so he could shut it down. Keep in mind this is at 8:10PM on a SATURDAY night. I have to say we felt completely unwelcome at this so called hotel. Literally 5 minutes after we checked in, my father who had driven us to the hotel from Limerick walked up to the door to use the toilet facilities and the same member of staff told him he could come seeing in as its cold. Ive never experienced such treatment in any hotel in my life. The room was also very basic with two single beds. The hallways were noisy and the lift very rickety. Facilities were very limited and assuming by their behaviour of us checking in at 8 o clock I imagine food service to be extremely limited at this place ! I was also walked in on top of by cleaners at 11:30 am despite check out being at 12. For the price I paid which was 104 there are many far superior options in Ennis. I would seriously AVOID this spot which I have to say seemed to be a glorified hostel more than anything else. I have to say I am disappointed in Bookings.com for selling this place to me, a very loyal user, as a three star hotel.

Uncomfortable, dirty, not as advertised.I arrived for a short 2 night stay in Ennis booked last minute on booking.com On arrival we were greeted by a street fight outside the hotel, the room was tiny smelled bad and the bed was not a double but two single beds together and both were actually broken, most uncomfortable sleep iv ever had. It's also clear that the "hotel" is being used for social housing and it felt like a halfway house. At night there was a lot of noise and I had to call the police on the second night as there was another fist fight outside. The "carpark " has no markings and can accommodate about 5 cars , l was blocked in on one occasion. All in all it was a rough experience, I have stayed in better hostels. I didnt bother to complain to management as the lack of care that was evident everywhere led me to believe it would be pointless. My back is in bits I cant wait to get home to my own bed, avoid at all costs....

MediocreHotel was very good value. But not very modern. Double bed was two singles put together, which I dont like as they are uncomfortable. It was quite grubby. Location wasn't too bad. But I would not make a return visit.

Do not recommendBooked last minute, overpriced for what you get, clean sheets and bathroom but dirty carpets, curtains, lampshade. Lumpy uncomfortable bed, smelly halls, rickety lift. Breakfast was OK but seating held old lumps of food. Not good.
