  Great stay

  I have read a few of the reviews on here and really dont understand them or think they are fair at all So I felt the need to write this Yes ok, the code on the front door and no staff isnt the best But my room was really big Was clean, tidy, The bed was massive, comfy, spotless Again the bathroom was really big, clean and tidy It was really quiet, didnt hear or see anyone the entire time I was there Only downside was the tv didnt work I would definitely recommend

  What a stinker!

  Love the fact that theres no staff and you can use a code to get in, checking in for me is the worst part. was on the ground floor room 102 and never ever stayed somewhere so vile! we werent even blessed with toilet roll, the room stank of damp the poor bed was so damaged every time you moved you could hear the springs! What a sad place not even worth the money. Theres a eff off giant fireplace for some reason with out dated curtains. The whole place needs knocking down.

  Disgusting place

  Arrived to a bed which had been slept in, feces in toilet, very poor customer service, was eventually sent a code for another room which trust me was not much better, worst excuse for a hotel ever, AVOID find an empty doorway in the street to sleep in !!

  Go across the road to Edgerton.

  This was a shocking hotel. For a start no security; the hotel day didnt lock at night, woke up to a drunk lady knocking on my door and then she fell asleep on the sofa in the waiting area.. also cant lock your own door so youre leaving your stuff unsafe throughout the day. Reported the door everyday and nothing got done about it. I was in the hotel for a week. I couldnt even get in for 20 minutes as no one was there on arrival so was in waiting area, had a check in email but didnt give me the correct safe number. Thirdly; I had to buy my own toilet roll as cleaners do not turn up everyday, they came twice within a week; and left hardly any toilet roll. The room was nice, but the customer service for this hotel is disgraceful. They have a dining room but its never open so you cant even eat your dinner down there if you wanted too! I spent a week at Edgerton Hotel before this, and youre better off staying there, 24 hours security, daily cleaners, and no homeless people sleeping in the door ways. Over and out, dont check in here xox

  not fit for animals

  on turning up to this Hotel ( I use the word lightly) we were greeted with over flowing bins, should have known from that.....walking up to the stairs to our rooms there was holes in the walls, smell of damp and dirt not a good start then we entered the first room....damp wet patches on the ceiling, sink unit broken and taps not secure, headboard not fitted to bed, electrical socket hanging off.....checked the second room to find it just as bad.....I'm travelling for work and I expect clean at least....this was shocking....complained to the reception who offered us another room....ermm no thanks have you not seen the state of the place, we was booked in for 4 days.. asked for a refund...told to go through booking.com, they said no refund hotel said they offered another room...emailed Hotel direct no response from them....no response from booking.com after 2nd email. so i have no choice but to warn others not to risk it.... i have informed the local council. environmental agency and HSE. I think the pictures on the website where taken 30 years ago! you have been warned.
