  Villa Joe, December 2017 (Joulukuu 2017)

  We spent 10 nights at Villa Joe, my family (wife + 2 teenage daughters + mother-in-law). The villa is gorgeous with 2 large bedrooms downstairs and 1 upstairs. Each bedroom has king-size beds, own large bathrooms with bathtubs and showers under the open sky, efficient cooling air conditioning, enough closet space, safe deposit box However, the safe box could be either heavier (can be lifted with a little finger) or screwed on. The villa has approx. 12m long and 4m wide swimming pool and it was heavily used during your stay, 3 sun beds and large day lounge with mattresses and pillows. There is also a kitchen with necessary equipments and a dining area for at least 8 people as well as a large lounge with sofas and TV. Villa Joe is impressive entity - though the patina is visible and the building could be updated. But what made our vacation unique, is the staff. Full 5/5 points to the staff. Kadek, "Made-Girl", "Made-boy", "Beckham" + others: you made our holiday with the big H. I work in the service business myself and I greatly appreciate the staff's professionalism, customer orientation, cheerfulness, kindness and helpfulness. Food was excellent during our holiday every day, thanks to our chefs. In fact, we did eat outside only two times (because the traffic) and the first day's dinner was taken from the nearby restaurant. The saying: "is not worth go beyond the sea to fish" holds true. Breakfasts, lunches, dinners - fantastic food every signgle day. Chicken, pork, beef steaks, fish, shrimps, omelettes, porridge, freash fruits daily, vegetables in different shapes, salads, ... all great, good taste and always enough. The rooms were always neat and in tip-top condition, towels were changed daily, pool area and indoor / outdoor facilities were kept clean all the time. "Everything worked like a toilet in a train". The staff was easy to approach and they did manage our other small needs - which certainly do not belong to their job description (e.g. Kadek visited the pharmacy, "Beckham" drove me with his scooter to get some food on the first day's evening etc.). In summary, the villa is luxurious and fancy (although some updates recommended) and the staff deserves full score. Sir Richard Branson (Founder of the Virgin Group) quoted: "Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.   ONE OF THE BEST IN BALI

  My family of 21 people spent 6 nights here for the week leading up to our wedding, after our original booking cancelled on us a week before we were due to check in. We had our hearts set on our original choice of villa as we chose it carefully. We were so guttered and upset and we just settled for Arwana Estate as a last minute booking as we had no other choice. The moment we walked into the Arwana Estate we were greeted by their amazing hosts (Made, Murtini, House Keepers and Security) the villas looked like something out of a movie!!!! It was like a ton of cement fell off our shoulders and we couldnt believe how LUCKY we were to have found Arwana Estate so last minute! (Thank god they were available!) The service and the staff is what makes this place 5 Star (and of course the villas are amazingly beautiful). Every single family member who stayed here with us STILL raves on about this Estate and we cannot wait to come back and stay with them again!!! THANK YOU ARWANA ESTATE for saving our family holiday/wedding accommodation. And the surprise touch to our room after our wedding night made me and my husband cry! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!   Decent place to stay with family

  We stayed at Villa Sam and it was a great experience! The villa is a paradise for both young and old. It can serve as the perfect intimate and secluded place for a couple on their honeymoon or a quiet place for old people who need peace of mind. At the same time, it can be an ideal fun place for a group of close friends or a big family vacation where they can laugh, play, cook, swim, watch movies and have fun together.

  Best first impression

  We stayed for three days after arriving in Bali. there were seven adults. It is close to airport and ideal for nighttime arrival. The villa sits behind a typical wooden entrance door and unfolded to reveal an intimate and beautiful villa with fish pond,gardens around a nice pool. the three bedrooms were beautiful and two had outdoor showers. it was an open kitchen/living area which was ideal.The staff were excellent, warm and soon became like family. from the Mitchell,Wensley,Handy and Hovinga families , a big thank you
