  Comfortable rooms near the beach

  We happened upon Seaside Villa by chance and decided to stay there for our entire time in Arugam Bay. Rooms were clean with a/c and mosquito nets. Bathrooms were fine and the breakfast was great. The people who run the place are super friendly and made us feel at home. Great for backpackers.

  Amazing place

  Hostel is really nice, very close to the beach. Rooms are clean and nice. Host is very helpful and gave as a lot of advices. Really close to the restaurants. We spent there five nights with lovely atomsphere

  Great Place to Stay in Arugam Bay

  I enjoyed staying here for about a week. People are chill and great, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is delicious. Right off the main road and close to everything, including an onsite surfing school, where I learned how to surf !

  Average place to stay

  The owner is friendly and kind, breakfast is really good (tea or coffee, egg omelette, water melone and toasts with jam) and the hotel is situated on the main road in the begining of restaurants, accomodations and shops. The beach is less than 1 minute walk. It's a pitty that this hotel doesn't have It's own beach place with sunbets etc. There is a mosquitier in the room. The ventilator was very loud especially at night. First day we had big cockroaches in bathroom so we used our repellent and they were gone but it was disgusting.

  STAY HERE

  This place is decent it has everything you need, the bed is comfy, the aircon works properly, each room has a couple seats outside and somewhere to chill, the property back onto the beach, theres food and basic stuff around the hotel, and the main hub of arum bay is like a 10 min walk down the road. The staff were really lovely!!! they always offered us beverages (free of charge) and generally made it a nice place to stay. If your on a budget but you want a solid nice air-conditioned room, stay here. It was such nice change from boiling hostel dorms (that are actually more expensive haha). Oh the wifi is good too!
