  Horrible and smelly

  I had a standard single room - it was tiny! When I just arrived and came in, I was knocked down by a horrible smell from the lavatory which was soon intensified by even worse odour from the air conditioning (do they know anything about changing or cleaning filters???). There was an ugly painting which was almost pornographic, and there were cracks in the walls. Another issue was that when I tried to ask a good friend into my room, a hotel "guard" stood outside below the window and tried to see what we were doing there! (we actually just talked) Then they came and argued that guests were not allowed at all - is it a hotel or a student dormitory? And do they honestly believe that someone can think of any "special" relationship in that horrible smelly atmosphere? A terrible hotel with filthy rooms and disgusting attitude. NEVER AGAIN.

  Perfect value for money for one night

  The hotel is new and clean. The rooms are tiny but if you are on business trip for one or two nights this is very good variant for Ulyanovsk.You have all you need in the room. The breakfast is also very good. I've visited this city several times and the last two times I stayed in this hotel when I go next time I will also stop there. Just mind if the place where you need to be in the morning is on the same bank of the river where this hotel is since Ulyanovsk has the problem of traffic on the bridges.

  Clean, decent hotel.

  Stayed here on a recent business trip. The hotel was clean and quite welcoming on the whole. Rooms are clean, but the shower was very poor, with a shower curtain which is a pet hate of mine. No shower gel or shampoo etc. Bedsheets and pillow cases were of very poor quality cotton. Food in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was ok.

  Noisy, without curtains or shutters

  If you are looking for a place : - noisy (very noisy, and the cleaning people start their day early), - without proper curtains (sun rises at 4:00 in the spring), - with VERY small rooms then you have found the one you're looking for.

  Good value

  Stopped here for the night in our motorbikes. The price was good, the rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was Russian but pretty good. The spa looks nice but we didn't have a chance to use it. Service was ok but no English and a lot of photocopying of documents so check in took a long time !
