Hotel para visitar los castillos del Loira
Hotel en un edificio histórico con pocas habitaciones amplias y decoradas con diseño moderno . El hotel se encuentra a las afueras de Tours en una colina, tiene una magnífica terraza con vistas al río y amplio aparcamiento. El personal muy amable y atento nos hizo la estancia muy agradable, nos ayudo a seleccionar los castillos a visitar y a reservar restaurantes en la ciudad, llegando a darnos el itinerario impreso para llegar sin problemas. No tiene restaurante pero el desayuno es muy completo y de calidad, el servicio de bar es bueno y es posible tomar algo para la cena Conviene avisar si se llega de noche no hay personal para atender .

Hotel con encanto, aunque apartado del centro
Se trata de un hotel remodelado con buen gusto, con habitaciones modernas y agradables. El principal pero es que se encuentra a las afueras de la ciudad de Tours en Rochecorbon y no hay restaurantes cerca. El trato es bueno y el desayuno es pobre en cantidad y variedad aunque elevado de coste. Opción interesante para quien deseé visitar los castillos cercanos de Villandry, Chenonceau y Amboise y no deseé pernoctar en la ciudad de Tours.

Increíble
Excelente hotel muy cerca de Tours. Es un antiguo palacete totalmente renovado (habitaciones muy limpias y totalmente renovadas). La decoración es exquisita. El palacete se encuentra en perfecto estado de conservación, adicional considero que la relación precio beneficio es totalmente aceptable.

Lovely hotel but total rip off
Booked this hotel for 3 people but was told had to upgrade as room booked was too small , new room was fab but 70 euros more then charged 40 euros to put bed up in room , and what ever you do dont order drinks without seeing tarif 40 euros for two gin and tonics And no restaurant

Not a keen fan
It's quite hard to write this review because I know that the hotel went out of its way to remain open during this (COVID-19 pandemic) time. I was not planning to go anywhere during the pandemic, but an emergency meant that I needed to travel and so I was grateful to find hotels (such as this one) that were open. The building is wonderful, and there's a handy Tesla charging station in the grounds too that I noticed. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the receptionist (the only member of staff that we saw during our stay) was delightful. Check-in was a breeze and there were lots of notices up about how things had been sanitised and that the wearing of masks was compulsory (although that didn't seem to apply to the man that we met on our way in who was on his way out to get into a large black Mercedes ... he must have been too important for the virus to bother with). But I do think that something could have been said to him while in the building that not wearing a mask was not acceptable. We were told beforehand that the restaurant and bar would not be open, so we'd brought food with us. Our room, 303, was on the top floor. There's a certain design aesthetic inside the building, which makes it different from a lot of hotels but doesn't really do much for me. But that's a question of personal taste. That being said, I really did not like this room. For the money we paid, it was small and dingy, with a low ceiling. I'm 6' 3" (190 cm) and I had to double over in order to walk around the bed. The walls and ceiling are painted black, which was probably the reason why a couple of large spider's webs in the alcove above the window had not been spotted. The rest of the room and the bathroom were very clean. The room got rather cold as night fell, but no amount of fiddling with the air con unit got it to switch on. And after 7 pm there were no staff to ask. The bedroom was very dark, with insufficient lighting. There appeared to be a floor light by the window but neither of us could find its switch. Equally, the bathroom was far too dark and using the main mirror above the sink to see anything was all but impossible. There was no shelf in the shower to put shampoo and stuff on, so you had to put those on the floor. There were far too few plug sockets and none of them were at an easy height to get to. Scrabbling around under the desk in order to unplug the coffee machine, so that I could plug in my phone and iPad, I discovered that there weren't actually enough sockets even for the things that the hotel wanted to plug in and there was a rather ungainly extension cord, which didn't add to the 'arty' design of the room. Nor did the TV, which was too high on the wall, and didn't seem to have been placed with any thought. And the bed was much too soft. I suspect that many of these problems will not be problems for people below a certain age! And more important things would be the quality of the food and broadband. The latter was first class - really fast, and no wretched password needed. The food for breakfast the following morning, which was delivered at exactly the time we'd asked for it, was also excellent. So, in essence, wonderful service but I just didn't like the room.
