  A great place to stay. Very clean, breakfast provided. The bottom studios have a patio directly connested to the garden. The Papadospiridakis family that is running the place are the nicest people you can think of. The beach is just around the corner with plenty of restaurants who have their chairs and umbrellas on the beach, and they serve your ice-cream or cold beer right there. A wonderfull place. On the close-by main street you will find the hotel owners olive shop. Make sure you take some bottles with you. The olive is just delicious. We definitely want to go there again.

  well,ldo not know where to star.......We were misled about the distance from the coast,which was 130m instead of 15m.there was a lot of fuss about the cars that went on the roat. Were not satisfied at all with the service.

  Great studios at a nice and quiet location

  I agree with most reviews, the studios are great and good value for money. We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed it very much. Good rooms, good location nice restaurants at the beach nearby. The sand beach with cost free beach chairs und sun umbrellas is 2 minutes away. The breakfast at Arsinoi is perfect. The owner are very friendly and help you whenever it is necessary Noi ist he good soul of the house.. We loved to stay at Arsinoi and we will come back.

  Cretan hospitality at a family bed and breakfast - not just a hotel room

  When it comes to making you feel welcome and at home, this family went all out to make sure we had everything we needed and could have wished for. We were greeted with a plate of fresh fruit from the garden, and they ordered the taxi for us when it was time to go. Noi even made us a home-cooked meal to celebrate our last night with them, a real treat, better than any restaurant! This family-owned and -run bed and breakfast makes you part of their family. If you've heard anything about Cretan or Greek hospitality, this is exactly that cultural experience. We had a room with a big balcony, very quiet, big, bright and clean. The property isn't directly on the waterfront, but that didn't bother us since we could walk to the promenade in 30 seconds. We look forward to visiting beautiful Kalamaki and Noi's family again!

  The return

  After a ten year gap we decided to return to Kalamaki and to the beautiful Arsinoi Studios. It was like returning home. The accommodation really lovely, the host, Arsinoi herself, welcoming and so hospitable. Breakfast was fantastic and the place itself only a few steps from the beach and a host of great tavernas. It is a shame that more people dont know of this hidden gem.
