  Summer vacation.

  Due to covid the place was empty! Great for us. Kids loved the water park and mini golf. Room has been updated. Had dinner on patio, food and service was good. Bonfire the first night. Beach could have been raked, along with lounge chairs. We will be back!

  Hotel Needs an Update

  Arrowwood was once known as one of the nicest places to stay in beautiful Alexandria, MN, but now it is sadly in need of an update. There was an overpowering sulfur smell coming from the bathrooms and the toilets were so old they didn't even appear to be clean. It's a great location with many positive amenities, however, I wouldn't recommend a stay until it has had a thorough renovation, especially the bathrooms. Also, during a time of a pandemic, it was unfortunate to see the managers (both night and day shifts) not wearing masks in a state which mandates them.

  Came for dinner left after drinks

  Terrible! Made reservations. Were not told that it was a limited menu. Burgers etc. ordered a cocktail. A Manhattan. Undoubtedly the worst I have ever had ! Sent it back and settled for a glass of water. The others drank theirs but all commented that they were badly made. Dining room in dire need of a update!

  Arrowwood resort

  I have been here every year since i was a kid with my whole family this is a great place to bring family and friends for almost any occasion. Every year we would play and still play tag or ball tag around the whole hotel and we would go all around to the water park and mini golfing. We would go in the fall which i say is the best time o do it. The lake is so beautiful and they have lots of activities for kids during Halloween in the cold months. Some these activities are picking out pumpkins and decorating them. frosting cookies and much more. For parents if you ever need a good workout or some relax time the workout room the hot tub and pool and the massage and care center are all right next to each other. The rooms here are always up to our standards the beds are always made and the room is always cleaned thoroughly when we get there. And if we were lucky after a day of activities the room service would clean our room for us.

  Very outdated and lacking communication

  Arrowwood Resort used to be a cool place to visit with many amenities but this place has gone DOWN HILL. Its in need of MAJOR UPDATES....the shower made this awful noise when running vibrating the entire wall, the toilet wouldnt stop running, the water smelled and tasted AWFUL, the lack of signs pointing you in the right direction are frustrating, the total LACK OF COMMUNICATION and price gouging since reopening is insane! It wasnt communicated when we called to book that waterpark bracelets no longer came with the room deal and it was $12 person which for a family of 6 is $144 fir two days IN ADDITION to the $376 for the room. Thats $520 for an outdated room with completely out of date appliances, etc. it should also be communicated on the website that the fitness center is closed and once it reopens possibly making it a tad easier to find as well as consider updating so you dont have to get a key from the front desk! Sadly this joint might be a thing of the past for most families if there arent some major updates. Do NOT recommend.
