  Absolutely horrible

  best part was leaving I am a hostel manager and I know some people leave bad reviews for no reason so I tried this place.... I would rather sleep on the street then here The room is overcrowded and not fire safe, I have reported it to qld fire. The room has no aircon, no working roof fan and only after I persisted we got a wolf and back hardly works. The door lock is broken so had to sleep with the door slightly open, The mattresses are a plastic horrible thin Kitchen shuts at 8 p.m. The manager clearly hates his job and is rude the rest of the work for accommodation staff seemed ok. The only good part was the basic free breakfast.. oh and leaving. Do not stay here!

  Working For Accomodation

  My experience working here was hell. The Russian manager is very unprofessional and should be fired from that job. He is very rude and had a bad attitude towards staff who work there. Treats every staff like trash and throws things on their faces. He gives very vague instructions then changes after you do it. He should not be working customer service. He treats staff as slaves in his own prison. Do not be tempted to work there.

  Absolutely disgusting!!!

  Booked accommodation in a crisis emergency situation, within minutes cancelled as partner had also booked other accommodation, now won't give refund! Explained emergency situation in email as they hang up on us or never ring back after messages left. Disgusting, heartless people keeping our money from a desperate situation when they have the option in exceptional circumstances to refund. Think twice before supporting heartless people! I hope karma doesn't hurt you as bad as our situation!!

  Worst Lodge I Have Ever Been

  Arrived there with a boat trailer as it said there is enough parking at the back,nothing of a sort. Toilet was a shared toilet, very hard to get there a my mother is in a wheelchair. No Air-conditioning or ceiling fan. No TV in the room, again going upstairs in a wheelchair = impossible. Room was very filthy. Toilet seat broken, talked to manager to fix the problem, but he did not care. No room kitchen had to share it. So they are falsely advertising it as a Lodge, which surely is not. If you want to waste you money or give it away, then find a better place. This business is money hungry but does not want to accommodate for his visitors.

  extremely unhygienic & unhelpful

  This place is very dirty. There was 2 male cleaners who for obvious reasons never cleaned. The pool is unsafe for adults let aloan kids...... I asked for a broom and a mop to clean the room I was in. (6 bed dorm) and was told there is a broom outside I proceed to grab a (industrial style broom) and was told to just sweep it would be fine. There isn't a dustpan or mop & bucket....... No cleaning at all has been done in 7 days..... There is an abanded house next door full of homeless drug addicts... I've been here for 7days. FULL OF LAZY WORKERS WHO DO AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE. DUE TO CORONAVIRUS 19 You would think that people wouldn't be put in 6 beds dorms that are extremely small. THERE HAVING 6 PEOPLE in 4 bedroom dormitory. The kitchen is only available via booking an appointment with an allocated time frame to cook. The kitchen opens 11:00am till 01:00pm closes and reopens at 06:00 pm till 9:30pm Over lunch you get 1 hour allocated time (if available & per booked) Only 2 bookings available over lunch Also only 1 hour and 45 minutes allocated for cooking dinner... This place needs new management... I'm surprised there's not more reviews stateing the truth about this filthy place Well I don't recommend that anyone stay here unless there's a chance in the way it's ran.
