  Someone recommended we stay here if we were coming to Pai. The Aroma Pai Hotel and Spa is about 20 minutes out of Pai by scooter, near the Elephant parks and hot pools. We found it very restful staying here, it is a small resort. We had a lovely big room, good wifi and our very own thermal hot pool with an outdoor shower. What is not to like. The owners are really friendly and helpful and their English is very good. We had a cooked breakfast every morning. There is a larger hot pool and small spa at the back of the resort. I had a very nice spa package while we stayed here. There are some very nice restaurants to eat at on the way into Pai, Earth Tone being one. If you are looking at a quiet, restful getaway for a couple of nights we really recommend Aroma Pai. We felt that the price was reasonable ... not too expensive.

  Nice massage but odd vibe

  I came here for some spa treatments during my stay in Pai. The drive there was pleasant, but I had a very strange experience while here. I ordered a small package, with a dip in the hot springs, a body scrub, and a facial. My friends and I had our dip in the hot springs, which are actually just pools filled with hot spring water (hopefully). A very nice man brought me tea and water. Then I went in for my treatment. They covered the bed in plastic sheeting and I sat on that for my scrub and mud treatments. I enjoyed this only because of the lady masseuse. The scrub was odd and the experience not particularly relaxing. The facial was similar, and she wrapped me up in the plastic for the mud to set. The shower to rinse these treatments off was sharp and stingy. It was also far too pricey for the experience. I do not recommend.

  Great

  I drove there just to use the hot spas. Very relaxing and the owner is very helpful and speaks good English. Use of the spa was not expensive and there where cold drinks to be bought. I have stayed there many times and the rooms all clean and comfortable. Cannot recommend enough. Well worth the few kilometre drive.

  Where to start... I'm convinced that the reviews on here and booking.com are fake. No one in their right mind would come here expecting a spa experience and leave content or relaxed. Firstly, it doesn't feel like a spa. It feels like a guesthouse with a pool, (a bad pool at that) and a really strange vibe to the whole place. The combination of the Thai builders on the surrounding construction sites shouting at one another, the lack of furniture to actually enjoy the pool, and not having food for guests to order doesn't inspire relaxation in the slightest. Disappointed and hungry, we swallowed losing a nights stay here and went back into Pai town for the rest of our stay.
