  Good size!

  Spacious room, good amenities including gym, public spa. The room we stay had private bath which according to the staff was a spring water if you turn on the hot tap. It's about 20min drive to LuoDong. Breakfast wise, I wouldn't say it's delicious but decent variety.

  Good location and helpful staff

  The hotel looked nice and photographed well. On closer inspection it is a little rundown but still clean and comfortable. The room we had was a two story room with a very nice design though I don't know why hotels in Taiwan insist on having glass walled bathrooms. One of the hairdryers didn't work but there were two. The public hotspring area was nice and the private tub in the room was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

  Big room but not worth the price

  We travelled as a couple and booked the loft option as it comes with a private bath(which failed to work). Carrying our luggages up the narrow stairway took a bit of effort. The bed and bathroom had bits of sand and in the middle of the night the pipes made gurgling noises. This hotel needs a revamp. Breakfast spread was not great either with limited options. Overall we find that its not worth the price.

  Large rooms

  The rooms are quite large and have a large bathtub in them. There is also a large swimming pool for guests to share. However, there is no iron or laundry available. The TV does not work. The hotel staff do not speak any English, so do not expect to receive any help after you checkin.

  OK stay

  Yilan is a hot spring resort town about an hour away by high speed train from Taipei Main Station. It is then a further 7 minute brisk walk from the local train station to the hotel. Brisk, as it was raining quite heavily.... We have pre-booked the highest grade villa 2-story suite which, although dated, is huge with two large hot spring bathtubs (one is almost pool-sized on the upstairs outdoor terrace), two TVs (with a number of international channels), and a king-sized bed. The hotel also features a hydrotherapy pool with spa jets, steam and sauna rooms. Some. of the jets though, are not working. Breakfast on both days is included and has a number of home made local and international dishes. Nothing to scream out about, but hits the spot nonetheless. The online deal was pretty good, but if I was to come back to Yilan, I'd probably book another hotel.
