  If the rooms didn't smell of raw sewage...

  We were put up here due to other places in Frankfurt being fully booked due to a fair taking place this week I'm torn here in my review The room is not the largest and facilities are extremely basic Last check in is before 9pm as they shut up shop The single bed resembles, as a friend on Facebook pointed out, something you would find in prison And the stench of raw sewage that seeped out of the bathroom made me wretch However, as other reviewers mentioned, the staff are friendly enough - particularly the younger lady serving breakfast Breakfast is decent enough, albeit limited and the location for this small town is nice and central The check in staff did explain why the bathroom smells and how it can be fixed That's all fair and well, but surely, you should fix the problem before a guest enters the room and ensure they never experience it?? It's on that last note that I rate this place the way I had Not one I would like to revisit or even recommend if truth be told Which is a shame, as I wouldn't say it's the pit of the world - but first impressions matter when you venture into the service industry

  Small well run hotel

  Small well run hotel in the middle of the town. Rooms are small but comfortable. I was warned about rooms at the front but the traffic noise was not a problem for me. Free Wifi. The only negative aspects: no hotel parking available (free public parking after 18:00) and the shower does not allow 'stand-up showering, the hose is too short (more of a sit-down hair washing fixture that a shower). Staff were friendly and breakfast was excellent and very cheap.

  Comfortable and clean

  Other than the initial wait outside to check in (reception isn't manned on a Sunday evening), it was a very good stay. The single room was nice and spacious, well equipped, kept very clean and serviced each day. Free wi-fi was available and reliable; the TV included some English-speaking news channels. Breakfast had a good selection on offer, including juices, cereals, multiple breads/rolls/jams, fruit, meat and cheese. Coffee or tea was served at the table, which was a nice touch. Good value and happy to recommend.

  Nice place, nice people

  Spent a couple of nights here. Nice, little and affordable hotel centrally located in Kelkheim. A no frills place but clean, quiet, and well-functioning rooms + a kind and attentive team. Great breakfast and overall experience.

  Central with helpful friendly staff.

  This is the most centrally located hotel in Kelkheim with very helpful and friendly staff and an excellent choice available for breakfast whether you prefer a light continental breakfast or a hot meal of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Unfortunately, when I was there coincided with some sort of conference and I had to make do with a small single-bedded room. However, despite it overlooking the main square, it was never noisy. I stayed six nights and throughout I always felt welcomed by the management and staff. The next time I am in the area I will stay there again.
