owner totally paranoidStayed in the arkadas on a bed and breakfast basis. So in the day and evenings ate out. Spoke to other guests when we got back in the evening and the hotel owner confronted me as he thought that I was telling guests to eat at other places. When people asked where we had been I simply answered their questions but the hotel owner was totally paranoid

third visitWe've stayed here three times, and have had wonderful summer hols each time. The owner, Tahir, genuinely wants each guest to have a wonderful time... Days are spent reading and going on fabulous boat trips, run by Tahir himself, which really make the holiday (in our opinion). Adrasan is a sleepy place - it is still fairly unspoilt with not a disco in sight! We've met some great people staying here, and there is a friendly low key atmosphere. But don't go if you want a sophisticated holiday. Warning - be prepared for power cuts and wonky fittings and fixtures. It's all part of the place's great charm... We advise eating out as much as in the hotel - don't go half board (there's a certain pressure so to do!). Up the road, the Paradise is simply magical with excellent food and it's nice to try other places to eat rather than being tied down.

wonderful placeGreat place, quiet but not boring. Enjoyed the boat trips, even did one twice within a week and still excited. Food's great, we had a special meal one evening with fresh catch- gorgeous. Rented a car (arranged by famous Tahir for a fair rate) and visited city and countryside. Spent two weeks with two kids 12+14yrs

Excellent family run hotel for an informal holidayExcellent food, great location close to a wonderful beach with lovely scenery around. Well maintained swimming pool. The ambiance was totally relaxed with very friendly and efficient service. Indeed the staff were helpful, caring and hardworking. This hotel is especially recommended to families who want an away from it all beach holiday.

Rural Turkey at its bestVisiting this resort just as the season gets into its swing we were enchanted by this friendly family run hotel. Built around a pristine pool one would expect to be overlooked but clever design and plantings made each room quite private and the balconies not too close. Bedrooms were simple but adequate though they could have benefitted with a little more TLC. Food, all locally produced was very plentiful: many mezes offered buffet style; we could have done with less choice but more varied from day to day. With extensive grounds roamed by a variety of wildfowl and only a couple of hundred yards from the sea and Tahir's boat it is a paradise for kids. If you are looking for nightlife forget it. Wonderful walks and plenty of eating spots close by. Please don't rule out Turkey as a destination, they need us and if we do not visit gems like this they could be lost to us for ever.
