  Perfect Bliss!

  Everything was just perfect in this elegant hotel in the resort town of Castrocaro. The rooms were spacious and bright and with excellent air conditioning and wifi. Breakfast in the morning was abundant and tasty and will fill you up for the rest of the day. The owners were so gracious with me and always waited for me to come down for breakfast even beyond the official breakfast closing hours. The rooms were cleaned daily from top to bottom, with great details to hygiene that I have not seen in big chains. I really have no words to describe the hospitality and display of ptofessionality that we have received. Every day it felt like coming home! The hotel is in the very center of the city. Restaurants ares just outside (and they have a very good local romagnolo cuisine restaurant on the premises). Forli is 8 minutes away, and 12 minutes from Predappio. The fortress is 10 min walk away. Cannot wait to be back in beautiful Romagna!

  Decent hotel.

  My wife and I stayed here during our recent trip to Italy. The hotel itself is decent. We give 4 stars mostly for the staff, who were very welcoming, polite, helpful, and professional. The room was clean and well maintained during our stay. The hotel was also very quiet, as there were not many kids or teenagers staying on the property. We did have a few minor issues, though. The internet, while free, does not have very good coverage throughout the hotel. When we could get a good connection to the router - which was while we were in the lobby - it was usable. Coverage in our room, though, was pretty hit or miss. The breakfast was pretty boring. The same very small selection of various breads, yogurt, ham, cheese, and a couple of different cereals, but nothing else. It was nice to have someone there to make a fresh cup of coffee in the morning, so that is a plus. They do have a basic pool that is open most of the day. It was difficult to keep it clean, due to the trees and bugs, but the cool water can be refreshing in the Italian summer. A huge plus for this hotel is that they seemed to have enough parking for all of their guests. We did not have any issues finding a place to park, even if we returned to the room later in the evening. They do lock the front door at midnight, but there is a key available at the front desk, if you ask for it before leaving. They do have a restaurant on the property, but we did not use it during our stay. You have to reserve your plate the day prior, and it will cost 15 (I believe) per person.
