  great holiday apartment

  everything was clean, apartment and common areas. Facilities are good, both pools and barbecue area are great. Amazing ocean views from apartment balcony. Friendly and welcoming staff. would recommend to anyone.

  Worst place I've stayed in the Gold Coast

  This was a very badly maintained property, which needs major repairs. I have attached a photo of the ensuite bathroom as an example. This is just part of the problem, the toilet roll holder was completely rusted, and the toilet seat had built on staining which can only be fixed by being replaced. The soap holders in both showers had been broken off and must have been thrown away. We had ordered two roll away beds which were not there on check-in. I went down to pay for them and was advised I had to pay a $200 security bond which was not mentioned at the time of booking. Not enough plates, glasses etc for the amount of people, and all dishes were dirty including baked on egg, meat residue etc. No scourer provided which is why I suppose the last people left food stuff on the crockery. I had to wash everything before we could use it (and yes I went out and bought a dish brush and scourer). BBQ only worked for half our stay and then was out of order and the majority of the time the front office was closed and only one of the two lifts worked. Very disappointed - don't waste your money staying here.

  Crap bed

  Staff were friendly and helpful , complex facilities, pools , spa , 1/2 court tennis were great , garden and general surrounds were very tidy , stayed in 1 bedroom unit , unit was clean with renovated bathroom and kitchen.. only issue was the bed Very uncomfortable. Would stay again , but would request a better bed ...

  Great location, shame about the room

  Awesome location, close to beach and tram. Short walk to cavil Avenue. Amazing view. Pool and garden areas area awesome. BUT Room was tired and needing alot of work. All doors to balconies jammed and very difficult to open, door handle to balcony from second room broken completely off. Main sliding door to balcony handle about to break off (very loose). All window winders rusty and nearly broken, if the winder was there at all. Shower heads kept falling down. All ceiling fans broken, only worked on lowest setting. Both chairs on balcony broken and unable to be sat on. Dining room chairs wobbly. Kitchen had a random assortment of pans and lids none of which fit each other. All knives had loose handles. Cracked and chipped plates and cups. Rooms felt dated, paint peeling off ceilings, Windows dirty, cobwebs everywhere. If you do want to stay here, and are placed into 38 ask/request to be moved to a different room.

  Best family holiday we have ever had!

  We recently stayed in room 21 of Aristocrat Apartments. I was beautifully renovated and very modern with comfortable beds and furniture and immaculately clean. The back balcony gives you views of the beach and the back balcony views of the river/hinterland. The location is absolutely PERFECT! Turn left when you exit the building and you are metres from the beautiful Surfers Paradise beach - right and you're a 30 second walk to a grocery store, bottleo and great little shops for a quick bite to eat. Not to mention the surfclub right at the end of the street for a nice meal. A short 3 min drive to Broadbeach or Cavill Ave depending on what you feel like. The amenities of this place are fantastic with a 1/2 tennis court, outdoor pool and indoor heated pool/sauna which we utilised a lot being winter. Roy, the property manager was extremely nice and helpful and always had a smile on his face. 3 nights here was simply not enough! Can not recommend room 21 of Aristocrat apartments highly enough. Stay a while - you wont regret it!
