  Doesn't worth the money

  Looks vey much as luxury hotel, but this is a casino hotel. Smoking is everywhere inside, drunk people, loud music from the bar. We were in floors 8 and 10 and the noise was like hammer on you head. Food is very very bad and expensive, very expensive . Stuff don't speak English . Room is clean and fair. This hotel has lots of space. Doesn't worth the money .

  STAY AWAY

  DO NOT STAY HERE. We were hoping for a resort-style place to unwind for a day before we travelled to Sapa. We arrived at 6am hoping for an early check-in. We paid NZD90 for a night and were charged USD80 (NZD120) to check in early. Breakfast was sparse and tastes awful - this place had the worst selection we have encountered so far. The place feels eerie, like you're in a horror movie. Everything smells like cigarette smoke. The only other guests we saw were what looked like Chinese high rollers coming across the border to gamble. One of the rooms we stumbled into, near the pool, was almost pitch black and full of empty liquor bottles. Speculate that it's for strippers and the hotel doubles as a brothel. We didn't stay and weren't reimbursed. Instead we were charged an exorbitant fee for a 5 minute taxi to the bus station.

  Lao Cai 5 star Aristo Hotel

  Aristo Hotel in Lao Cai has undergone tremendous changes.....in services, courtesy & cleanliness. Previously, there has been no expertise & experience and furthermore, it does not have the right personnel at the right places at the top. I was there from April 16 - 20, this year and things and activities have been moving the way it should, as compared to previous years. The staff helpful, cheerful and pleasant. It is true that you do not expect too highly educated personnel knowing the English Language in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos but slowly they are progressing rapidly. The executives that I have met speaks beautiful English and it would be high time the HR dept staff provides regular English classes to the staff of all depts., especially the front liners. This hotel has a casino, fun pub, swimming pool, Karaoke, Spa Centre and restaurant serving Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Western cuisine. Lao Cai is almost 4 hours car ride from Hanoi and Sapa mountain is worth visiting. Across the river is the border of China. The service is acceptable for a small town province standard and do not expect anything superb and fancy compared to big cities.

  Friendly and Family Style Casino ^-^

  I travel all over the world playing in Casinos, and no other casino makes you feel right at home like the Aristo Casino. I have been coming here since October 2017, and I do my best to visit this Casino mostly for the warm feelings I get. Everyone treats you like family and asks you how are things going. If you are looking for a cozy and friendly place to enjoy yourself, while you make money, Aristo Casino is definitely the place to hang out. Yes, most of the customers are Chinese, but they are also very friendly to me. Also it is very close to Sapa, if you wanted to take a break and spend some of your winnings. Finally, I would like to mention that most of the staff are Vietnamese and some from Malaysia. They can speak Chinese and enough English to make me feel at home. The managers all speak English well. The staff are not fluent in English, but speak enough to help me with whatever I need. All I can say is now in 2018, this is my favorite Casino in all of Asia.

  No se corresponde a un 5 estrellas

  No me volvería a alojar en este hotel. Habitaciones limpias y espaciosas. Personal amable, muy poco cualificado, sólo hablan vietnamita, como puede ser que un hotel de 5 estrellas nadie hable como mínimo inglés?, eran tan poco cualificados que a la hora de pagar le tuve que decir donde se introducía la tarjeta. El hotel no dispone de ninguna terraza para tomar algo o simplemente sentarse a charlar. La comida toda vietnamita o china, bufet del desayuno muy justo. La ciudad mejor no ir, es una ciudad donde no suelen verse occidentales y todo el mundo te mira como si fueses un bicho raro además no hay nada que ver. Hasta las 4 de la mañana se escuchaba un karaoke de la ciudad!!!!! Si volviera elegiría otro hotel.
