  Well worth staying at

  A friend had booked in advance and requested a room with two beds. On checking in Nathan had upgraded us to a studio apartment with a bedroom and a trundle type fold up bed in the sitting room at no extra cost. We also received a little wire basket with complimentary milk, chippies and bikkies - a lovely touch. The studio was well appointed, NO sign of any wear and tear at all, and incredibly shiny and spotless and sparkly clean. I slept in the fold up bed and it was very comfy and the bed linens were lovely. On the down side was the lighting which was quite poor - could do with lamps beside the beds for reading. The one ply loo paper was not so good! And if you wanted WIFI you had to pay for it yourself - maybe not so acceptable in this techno age. Overall a very good locality handy to everything, beautifully presented units and a very congenial host.

  Weekend Stay

  very comfortable room, well appointed room with spa bath, good fittings, bed couches etc.. Close to the CBD with charge back on some dinner options, breakfast choices were ok. great off street parking. also across the road from speedway and Palmerston North show grounds

  Excellent Accessible Motel

  We stayed here for 3 nights on one of the accessible units. It was well set up with 2 single beds but we did have to put our raisers under one bed to get enough height for the hoist. The bathroom worked well and had all that was required in a fully accessible shower. We appreciated the quiet street so close to town. Travelers need to be aware though that when a sports event is on this motel and street will be very busy. We appreciated the excellent hosts and the helpful service. This motel is one of the few that really is accessible.

  Great position close to Arena

  Upgraded to a two bedroom unit at the rear. Spacious and with a spa bath which we sadly had no time to use. Lovely pillows on the beds. Well equiped kitchen. Lighting was a little dim. Dark paint on some of the walls was lovely but probably didnt help this. Side rooms will get afternoon sun if that's what you enjoy. Initial Wifi is free, then you would have to pay (but can't remember the limit).

  Great stopover

  Very clean, tidy comfortable room. We were 3 adults and without us asking they put another single bed in the room so one of us didn't have to sleep on the fold out sofa bed. Great location, great service and very quiet. Will definitely stay again - highly recommended.
