  Perfect for families

  Family of five and we stayed in the premium mobile home. Our flight was delayed and we didnt reach the site until nearly 11pm. Checked in with the guard who had our name and room key all ready. Wasnt prepared to leave my passports with them but I guess thats they way they do it. The mobile home itself was amazing. All the amenities you need. Our group (we went with another family of five) were next door to each other on 239 and 240 and it was a great location, steps from the water and to the Relax Pool. Speaking of relax pool, it certainly lives up to the name. The cabanas were free and the breeze bar makes great pina coladas. The bigger pool was decent, lots of people and you had to pay for the cabanas, but the restaurant there was really good! The campsite itself is equipped with a supermarket and a beach shop which was really convenient. There was also the best banana split gelato ever at the little ice cream shop. We went parasailing which was super easy to book and well priced. We took the train into the Medulin center which was very convenient and it showed us a lot of the town. Overall, we had the most relaxing vacation and we definitely will be back. Thank you Arena Kazela for such a memorable family vacation!!

  Great family experience in the new Villas by the sea. Comfortable, modern, well equipped, bedding and towels replaced every 3 days. Superb infinity pool, enough sun beds and cabanas for everybody. Hassle free in every way. Great water sports, bike rent, bars, restaurants, supermarket, souvenir shop on site. Free parking, amazing snorkelling right on your door step. Efficient and friendly staff. Will love to return.

  1 week vacation with the tent

  2nd year in this camping side for my family. Pitches (the standard ones too) are wide, very good. In two years the place improved impressively: new reception: very good new pools (also one new amazing relaxing pool closing at 10 p.m.: excellent funny entertainment for kids and adults: very good prices inside the camping: unacceptable. Mid August is already expensive also for tent but we pay because the services are good. One family cannot pay 7 for a small beer and an ice cream. Not mentioning the prices in the mini market ... Another little problem: only one refrigerator and 1 wash machine for the whole camping side is ridiculous.

  Nice place for family vacation

  Accommodated in the apartments behind the camp, ground-floor, 5min from the beach. Sufficient and clean,but forget about using the historical TV in very small kitchen. Wifi for free and ok. No bags for the trash. The whole camp was very clean, although there were almost no trash bins in the whole areal. We always had to search and walk distance to find one. The bins were designed with three wholes to sort the trash but there was only 1 bag inside so just nice marketing :) Mostly Italians, and Germans. Very nice and new swimming pool at the beach with small pool for kids. Surprisingly there was not many people although it was season, so you could comfortably move around, swim and play. We had to pay extra for almost everything: air-condition, using toboggan (50kn/day/kid), beds & parasol at the pool (60kn/day) and the beach (90kn/day). So there was almost no-one on the slide (max 2-3 people in 'queue') and 80% of all beds were empty. Only 3 restaurants: 1.one next to the shop far from the beach mostly serving pizza (did not try that one), 2.at the pool - quite pricey with slow service, but food ok and 3. at the beach - very disappointing quality of meals. There is a touristic small 'hop on-hop off' train to Medulin, Arena campsite and back to Kazela (14 stops). It is going through the whole day, costs 40/20kn per person/kid and you are in 15 minutes in the town center. We used it 3 times ourselves, our 3-y old son loved it. There is also kid's fair in the town (opens around 6- 7pm). Nice attractions, but very pricey. Only pebble beach (big stones - 5-15cm), with crystal clear water. You could go 30-50 meters in and still touch the bottom, ideal for snorkeling. Can buy entry to an inflatable aqua-park floating in the sea. Overall we enjoyed the stay very much, but I'm not sure we will come back as the price was quite high.

  Best place ever!!

  We rented a brand new Mobilhome in the "Relax Zone". Not cheap, but well worth the money!! 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, spacious rooms, large and nice beds, excellent terrace, overlooking the sea, shade was plentiful. Large fridge, all things you needed where there. Clean towels daily! As well as new linnen every 3 days. What a luxury. The brand new relax swimming pool was not busy at all! Free sunbeds alongside the pool. Really really nice people working at the bars and restaurants. Nice live music. Never loud or late at night. We could stay there for ever. 2 little remarks: kids had to pay 50kuna a day for the waterslide.... as well as paying for the sunbeds at the large pool. A bit silly. And the beach is small, lots of stones. You'll need water shoes. Go visit the place, its heaven on earth!! And lots of nice things to do in the area.
