Great location and Tom is a GentFantastic location, Tom is such a wonderful helpful and kind man. Room was big and spacious and spotless clean. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went over and beyond. Definitely a gem to stay in. Will be back!!

Real Irish B&BWe spent here a couple of nigths during our trip around Ireland. The house maybe does not have the luxury of a hotel, but its owner makes you feel like at home. This 74 years young man took care of everything and we really appreciatte his kindness and hospitality. Thank you so much Mr. Tom, its been a pleasure to meet you!!!

Shame on you Ardmore HouseExtremely upset with this accommodation and Expedia. Booked this accommodation last summer as we had booked two tickets to take part in the Beara. Charity cycle in May 2019. It was the last accommodation left in the town for that weekend. In October the owner rang me to say he had to cancel me as he was overbooked. I told him it was a bit late to inform me but he said he had forgotten his Expedia password and was locked out of the site to update. I rang Expedia and complained.. they investigated and said owner was responsible for getting us alternative accommodation and would be in touch. After several emails to both of them to date I have not heard anything from the owner. I am now left with no accommodation due to everything sold out and have to sell our tickets. This is an appalling way to treat anyone and has left a very sour taste in my mouth. Shame on you Ardmore house !!!!

Even though he was 'closed' for the holidays he put us up and served us a great breakfast! My daughter and I were hiking the Kerry Way in December of 2018 and we arrived in Kenmare on Christmas Eve. My daughter was feeling under the weather and we had been hiking in the rain for part of the day and decided to try to find a room for the night. We were able to book the Ardmore House and were able to walk there from the town center in a matter of minutes. Tom was surprised when we knocked on his door and he explained that he was doing a charity event the next day and that he thought he had blacked out this night. None the less he quickly invited us in and showed us our room, he only asked if we could take breakfast early (before 8 am) which was no problem. We both had a good nights rest and a great Irish breakfast prepared by Tom. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and would stay here again.
