  Volveremos!

  Hemos pasado tres noches en este encantador B&B y solo podemos dar las gracias a Vera y su familia por haber hecho nuestra estancia una autentica delícia. Eramos un grupo de 25 personas y estamos todos encantados con el trato y sobretodo con los deliciosos desayunos 100% homemade a base de productos caseros. La localización es perfecta para visitar los parques naturales y los lagos que hay alrededor. Fueron muy atentos en todo momento e incluso nos ayudaron a planear las excursiones reservando en restaurantes y pubs para facilitarnos la estancia. Relación calidad-precio excelente! Un 10, desde luego, volveremos! Thanks for everything Vera, it was a real pleasure to stay at your excellent place.

  Beautiful Home

  Vera and her husband were extremely nice, our room was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and our son especially liked the fresh cake every morning. I loved the fresh scones. Only 5 mins walk to Spiddal village. We hope to return some day.

  Aran Islands visit

  Our party of seven (three children 8-10) stayed for two nights around a day visit to Inish Mor (Aran Islands). Vera and Bartley's home is large, well cared for and surrounded by beautiful gardens. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast delicious (get the scones and Guiness cake recipes!). Vera tailored the breakfast to our desires. The Women's World Cup was played during our visit. Vera let us use the TV lounge and bring outside snack food for dinner during the match. She supplied plates, utensils, drinks and tea. She could not have been more accommodating. The only caution is they do not accept credit cards since their B&B is open only during the tourist season. Their rates are quite reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

  My favorite B&B!!!

  Vera & Bartley are wonderful, their home is beautiful, the gardens are spectacular, and the breakfast is the BEST !! I agree with prior review about the scones & Guinness cake, "get the recipe". I would absolutely stay with Vera & Bartley at their very comfortable Ardmore Country House in Spiddal. Also, we enjoyed dinner at Tigh Giblin in Spiddal Village.

  Lovely home, location and hostess and host

  Bartley and Vera have been in the B&B business for a long time and have the art of taking care of guests down. The breakfasts are one of the best in Ireland and on top of this Vera bakes for her guests. Breakfasts are served at long tables so you have an opportunity to talk to the other guests as it is home style. They have great suggestions on how to spend your time and Vera is the authority on whether it is a good day to travel to the Aran Islands. We have stayed with Vera and Bartley everytime we are in Spiddal. The rooms are nicely decorated with plenty of room. If in Spiddal, try to stay at Ardmor Country House
