  Handy for walking to town or hospital.

  This place had been used by irish relatives before and provided a comfortable enough stay when visiting my very ill daughter in hospital. Breakfast was everything you need but you'd have to opt out of the full irish as it seemed mandatory! Good selection of yoghurt, cereal and fruit with numerous coffee or tea refills. The friendly proprietors were knowledgeable and able to advise and helped french guests and we're patient enough not to rush breakfast. A room at the back may have been quieter with garden views. In a family room, there was plenty of storage and although the triton shower must have been one of the earliest models it gave a good hot shower. A brisk 5 min walk would take you down to Aldi and the bus station is a little further beside eating places and across from the shopping centre. Can recommend Penneys for cheap disposable clothing if you travel light! Would recommend to travellers

  Quiet and convenient

  I stayed at Ardlee B&B for five nights and was very pleased with the nice room and gracious hosts. Elizabeth read my special meal request (vegan) and provided me with a delicious breakfast and made me feel very welcome. The breakfast was very filling and she provided a variety of fresh fruits, juice, coffee/tea, toast and hearty breads to accommodate. She even made a special point to buy me the peanut butter that I mentioned I loved eating each morning (even though I was the only one eating it) and she set it out each morning on the table. I felt safe in the house and in the area. She and her husband Donny were wonderful and I loved that the home was comfortable, spacious, and very quiet. I got a great night's rest every night. I would definitely stay here again. The property is very close to downtown and was very convenient to make day trips out to Giant's Causeway, Donegal city center, the lovely town of Letterkenny, and Londonderry. She has great information in the breakfast area and is a wealth of knowledge about what things to see and do. I recommend this B&B for anyone who needs a nice "home away from home!"

  Friendly people but we would not return to

  On our roundtrip through the island thid was the b&b we appreciated least. Although the host is friendly, the b&b is outdated. It is very difficult to set the heat of the shower at the desired temperature because the fixed head. When setting the temperature it is first always top cold or to hot. There is only one wall socket free. The room is not very big. Breakfast is good. The place is clean and rooms are made up daily.
