  Enjoyable Stay

  Small quiet hotel. Name suggests beach front, but about two or three minutes walk to the beach. That said, the location is excellent. Has only ground and first floor rooms. Hotel grounds small but are very clean and well kept. Pool good size, private and clean. Plenty of pool lounges in shade or sun. Receptionists efficient and very helpful. Assisted with transport needs etc. Room is large by Bali standards, but sparsely furnished. Bed king size and a bit firm but ok. For the size of the room, the TV is small and standing on what appears a bedside cupboard. Bathroom ok size with decent shower with hot water. Some minor maintenance and a thorough scrub should be done in the shower recess. We had a leaking handbasin and staff fixed this promptly. So maybe some extra training for cleaners is required. As other reviews, towels are old, grey and thin. New ones needed urgently. No hairdryer either. Minor complaints that could be fixed easily and cheaply. There is no telephone in the room but this is not too bad as there is no onsite restaurant to order room service etc. Breakfast vouchers can be purchased to LuhTus Cafe on the beach only a minute or two walk. It has a very good breakfast menu, lovely baked cakes etc and also lunch and dinner. The hotel is close to the best areas of Sanur for eating out. Also to the beach and beach footpath, spas, stalls etc. Rooms towards back of hotel the quietest, ground floor ideal. For the price of this hotel, it is very good value for money.

  Great all round.

  This hotel was great. It was clean, the room was very spacious and the staff amazing. A short walk to the beach at Sanur, which has numerous fantastic restaurants and a beautiful beach. It was lovely to find the book library exchange, the pool table and plentiful poolside seating. As there is no restaurant at this hotel and plenty of space in the room, I would suggest adding a small kitchenette, this would have been the icing on the cake. We would not recommend the bar opposite for food.

  Great little find

  Blink and you will miss the hotel on the street, but opens to a little oasis. Quite little gem minutes away from the beach. Only has about a dozen rooms so hardly anyone in the pool - no problem getting a lounger. A number of loungers in the shade. Clean and tidy large rooms. Totally recommend for solo lady travellers. Get yourself an upstairs room - the stairs only lead to your room so no one will be walking past. Very friendly and helpful staff. The no restaurant on site is a bit of a pain, but the beach restaurants are a five minute walk away and give so many yummy choices. I would be nice if they stocked a few things in the fridge - a couple of beers, soft drinks, water and maybe some snacks. Will stay here again.

  Great location and large clean rooms

  We really enjoyed our stay at Aquarius Beach Hotel for three nights. The room was large and very clean and had a TV, small fridge and safe. The air conditioner worked well. Each room, had either a balcony or patio which was separated from the neighboring room by a screen. The pool was large and also very clean and nice to swim in. The staff, particularly Diara, were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a short walk down to the beach at Luhtu's Coffee Shop and there were several choices for breakfast including nasi goreng or mee goreng with juice, tea or coffee or toast with jam, fruit, juice and tea or coffee or eggs and bacon, toast with jam, fruit, juice and tea or coffee. The food was nice with good size serves. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Aquarius Beach Hotel again.
