  Not as good as advertised

  The hotel is certified as a Baby friendly hotel but there are only few outdoor playgrounds for the kids. The indoor playground is not available at the moment. No babysitting available. The food is good also the chefs and the head waiter are fun. The rest of the staff is not speaking Czech nor English. They are from abroad. No way to get nor purchase the real espresso coffee there, only artificial stuff from Douwe Edgberts available. The breakfast is still the same, fresh fruit and vegies available, good enough. The lunch was great! Also the dinner is good, too bad no drinks are included to your meal. The roommate is doing average job, when the hotel is full, expect the room to be made in the afternoon. Be advised to use the swimming pool area, it's nice but the floor there is very dangerous and slippery. We were here with the infant, booked half a year in advance and still got the room in the second floor, so you need to carry the baby always on the stairs, crazy. From the 10 points and the price we've paid I'd rate this facility with 7 points{thanks to good cuisine and the head waiter} totally, not bad but still many things to improve.

  Lovely aqua park hotel for nice relax

  Nice hotel, located in a beautiful location isolated from the city center. It is surrounded by beautiful nature, and perfect for complete rest and relaxation. It is just 800 meters from the center of pindlerv Mlýn. For us was the starting point for hiking to the Luní hora mountains and the highest peak of the Czech Republic, Snka. The rooms are nice, well maintained, clean. They are equipped with everything we need. The restaurant is self-service, which we adore. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The food is more than excellent, it is rich in a variety of local dishes which we really liked. Great cuisine. The organization is great and there was no crowd either for breakfast or dinner. The hotel has an aqua park, that is, hydromassage pools and water slides. Sauna, salt room and massages are also available.

  Family of 4 skiing in Spindleruv Mlyn

  Good location for access to nice skiing area. Swimming- and pool area has good facilities (3 slopes) for kids to play, and a nice sauna and steem area. Food in restaurant however quite poor. Do not expect much english- or german speaking staff. But in general OK.

  A nightmare

  We dind't try the hotel, only the Aqua park. We were very excited when we read that an Aqua Park was very close to our residence, in fact on our first day we brought the kids. If you have children younger than 10 years, don't go. Especially if you have more than one. First of, the staff: the most unfriendly people I have ever met, already at the cashier. The guy wanted just to serve the next customer without listening to our questions and we had plenty (plus we wanted to but some extras, like towels, as we didn't have enough). The changing area is what it is, not really practical but with kids, nothing is. Once changed you pass by the shower (mandatory) and get to the pool. There are basically 3 areas: one for little kids (by which I mean toddlers), one with a Jacuzzi (I think, in corona time I didn't get too close, was packed with people), one bigger composed by different areas (the biggest you see in the popular pictures). This last pool has 2 highs: 120 or 140 cm. Therefore if ur kids are small and not that confident swimming, they'll have a hard time managing, also cause it's packed. In the pool, you can rent swimming wings and belts. It was helpful for the kids, but still to enjoy the pool was very hard. They have huge slides which looked very nice but we couldn't try them. Keep in mind that the water is very cold, we never managed to get used to the temperature and my son's lips were blue at all times. Once he started shaking, we decided to get out and take some chips. The girls at the bar seemed very annoyed by the order. When we asked for ketchup, she made a face than drove me mad. Anyway, after few minutes we regretted being there: everything was messy, dirty and none was friendly or polite. We'll definitely never go back.

  A bit cold

  We went to the aquapark on a rainy day. The slides are much fun and the sauna and hot tub were nice, but the pool itsself and the overall temperature was quite cold, so we ended up circling back to the hot tub every time. So overall quite nice, but very annoying that it was so cold.
