  No es un resort

  Llamarlo resort es algo ambicioso. Es un hotel estilo motel bastante económico y poco más. Personal muy atento y desayunos estupendos. Piscina bastante buena y tranquila en general. Cerca de los bares pero alejado del inmenso ruido de la zona de la playa por la noche.

  Aqua is closing

  Aqua has been sold to a casino company and will be for their staff .This was a very nice guesthouse. Walking distance to the beach ,beautiful pool. Excellent food and this guesthouse will be missed by many to come just to eat and swim.

  You Get what you Pay for

  + they have aircon and No bedbugs. Location is good - maintenance, cambodian service level, cleaning, overall standard We were a group of four friends, and paid less than one dollar per person per night, so we were very happy with our stay, comparing with what you would expect for that price

  Walking distance to Serendipity beach

  We stayed in Sihanoukville for only one day and night before going to Koh Rong Samloem so this guesthouse is a good choice as it is only 5 minute walk to Serendipity beach where you can enjoy an exciting nightlife and take the ferry to Koh Rong in the next morning. The hotel is quite small but well equipped with swimming pool, bar and billiards. Nearly all the rooms have balcony with field view and swimming pool view. Quite airy and cool. The food is not very good, though.

  Appalling

  During my time at Aqua Family Resort (and it appalls me to call it a "family" resort), I saw two elderly Caucasian men exiting their rooms along with several very young-looking Cambodian women who spoke little to no English. The women looked extremely uncomfortable as the men stroked their bodies by the pool. A few minutes later, the hotel manager came over to tell them that there's been a mix-up, that they overbooked the hotels. The men then asked if the manager can call the girls' pimp so that they can have them for an extra night to make up for the mix-up. The manager said, "Absolutely. I will take care of that for you." The men then had the audacity to tell me how much they love and respect Cambodia and its culture. "Stunning women. Absolutely beautiful," they added. I am an Asian woman. I was in my early twenties as were the Cambodian women accompanying them. It made me sick to my stomach that I as treated like a human, while these other women who were so similar to me were treated like objects. I sincerely hope that in light of TripAdvisor's new policy on flagging businesses for questionable health, safety, and discriminatory issues, that this "family" establishment will be removed for the exploitation of human rights.
