  Location, Location, Location

  Not the first time we have stayed at Applegum and it certainly won't be the last. Excellent Motel, reasonably priced and friendly staff. Located in Margret Street with easy access to CBD, parks and the Empire Theatre.

  great place to stay

  Our family have been staying at the Applegum motel over the past 2 years as our son went to Toowoomba grammar school. great location for us. walking distance to queens park, school and lovely cafes. its comfortable and clean and being a family run motel has great service. thank you for your hospitality - we will be back. and dont forget to book directly for the best rates

  Very comfortable affordable accommodation

  I stayed one night during the Carnival of Flowers on Thursday 24th September. I booked that day through their website with instant confirmation. Its an older style single level motel which has been refurbished.Each room has covered parking outside the room. Travelling alone I paid $135 for a Spacious, very clean deluxe queen, room only.The bed was by comfortable with lovely bedding.Renovated bathroom. I found it quiet.No traffic noise from Margaret street out the front and I didnt hear my neighbours. I chose it for price and easy walkability to Queens Park.

  Excellant service

  I stayed there the night before I had day surgery.The room was very comfortable, when I left a bag of clothes they were delivered to my home in Dalby the next day. Thank you to all who managed this for me. My biggest disappointment was that I didn't get to eat there as the restaurant food is amazing on past experience.

  Great Location, Friendly country service

  Clean & comfortable. Onsite owners friendly & obliging. When I regrettably had to cut trip short (due to last minute COVID restrictions), they actually offered me a refund for the lost nights. That was really impressive. Location of this place is fantastic. 5 min walk to Queens Park, few more minutes toBotanic gardens. And at least 3 other parks within 10mins walk. Two good Cafes within 5 min walk & town is about 15min walk. Safe, clean area of town. Very very treed, with beautiful old houses. Really quite stunning. Easy check in & out. Good food for room service. Your own car park right at your door - super convenient, but it also means you hear other peoples car & voices close by. That really is the only downside. Would definitely stay again.
