  Needs renovations and repairs big time

  I live locally,same town as Apple Creek Cottages and just stopped into its office to possibly block some rooms for out of town guests coming to our house for big party. While waiting for desk attendant to appear, I brought up pictures of rooms on TripAdvisor, many of which showed problems that could be easily repaired (nails sticking out of woodwork, shredded window blinds). I asked the desk attendant if any of the rooms had been repaired or renovated, showing her the pictures. She advised that 2 rooms had been renovated but these pictures were "small problems" that didn't merit attention. Allow me to add another picture to its gallery. The glass window in this room has been broken and is currently scotchtaped in place. Screen speaks for itself. I left.

  What a dump!

  This place is awful. Paper thin walls. Dogs barking. Cheap, old furniture. Broken slats on blinds. Dirty looking. Not a cabin at all just an old motel. Would like to leave and get money back. Pics very deceiving. Not a good getaway at all. Hate it.

  Profits Before People

  My wife and I have been planning on visiting the Prescott area for quite some time. Now that the time has arrived we took a look at the weather for northern Arizona and the Prescott area only to find that at the time of our trip the area is forecasted to have extremely hazardous driving conditions. In my younger days, I happened to get caught in northern Arizona in similar conditions almost to my peril so I know it is nothing to mess around with. My wife just called to cancel or reschedule our visit and was met by a very rigid sounding property manager who refused to be of any help whatsoever. Rules are rules was the theme. We had looked so forward to this visit as we are looking to relocate to the area but we are not willing to be forced to risk our lives and safety. Let this serve as a warning to you. They may have got our money this time but we will NEVER look to go to this place again and neither should you.

  You get what you pay for....?

  Positive - Pet Friendly. Decent mattress. Lowest price with kitchenette in area, although not cheap. Negative- No maintenance in many, many years. Bare bones in every way. Door knobs, faucets, lights that don't work properly or at all. Wooden frame windows that don't open and the glass in them haven't been cleaned in years. No vent fan in bath or above kitchen stove. Chairs with vinyl seat is cracked and worn through and has been for years.

  Is inexpensive worth it?

  We have dogs and wanted to get away for a few days. I saw an add on Groupon and from the pictures shown on their internet site, it looked older but adequate. Well, thats a laugh. Like others said; some things worked and others didnt. The water didnt shut off in the bathroom and the water pressure was very low as it took the toilet a good 2 minutes to fill the tank. The entire place is in need a maintenance and new furniture. If you have no need for comfort or adequate space then you might like this place. I wont be returning.
