  Great place for the price

  Good place to stay. Great price and you get what you pay for. Yes the shower curtains ain't the best and yes the aircon is dated and takes a while to kick in and yes the hairdryer is terrible I'd recommend taking your own..... . BUT Its clean. Cleaned daily by maids. Safety deposit box was 20 euro deposit for a week so cost nothing. Aircon was 50 euros for the week. Supermarket next door run by the family. Pool is over the road at anixis tavern and we got a sun bed every say. Should we return to pefkos we would return here.

  Perfect typical Greek family run property

  Clean,basic and excellent location, away from the noise of Pefkos. Adjoined to the same family run supermarket, pool and taverna. We ate the at the taverna most lunch or dinner, beautiful views and great home cooked food. The family are genuinely lovely and offer a great service. I would stay here again

  Very Disappointing

  We are frequent visitors to Greece and are used to basic Greek style accommodation. We try to read between the lines of any negative reviews but in this case unfortunately I have to agree with some of them. I would basically describe this accommodation as grubby. We had one of the studios round the back, it was very quiet and the studio a good size. There was a kettle, toaster, fridge, hairdryer. Bins emptied every day, floors swept every day, towels and bedding changed regularly. As far as cleaning goes though that was it. Very basic storage, as expected, one very small, flimsy wardrobe and 3 very small drawers. As in previous Greek accommodation we needed to use our suitcases for storage too, but this wasn't a problem to us. Bathroom was adequate, though shower curtain was too small so water covered bathroom floor. Again as to be expected - just needed to be careful you didn't slip. There were 2 single beds which were very hard, but fine for us. Unfortunately the beds had ends on so were a bit small for my husband as he is tall. Kitchen area had very basic utensils again as expected. Basic accommodation is fine but this was not clean. We had to scrub the mugs before we could use them as it looked like they had not been washed for weeks. The whole studio looked like it needed a good hose down as it was just grubby. Something had been spilt under the beds by a previous guest. It was a saucer sized patch of what looked like dried sick..absolutely disgusting! We separated the beds so that the cleaner could see it when she came in and scrape it up. She did 'clean' it but not properly as there were still dried chunks left under the beds. She must have noticed this previously and ignored it as she would need to separate the beds to make them up. There entrance door was made of frosted glass and the curtain was far too small - about 18 inches too short and 18 inches too narrow. We though it looked hilarious, I mean why bother! Also you couldn't leave the door open as the cats would wander in. Obviously there are many good reviews for this property but unfortunately for us it was very disappointing. We would not return here.

  Value for money

  Just returned from a week stay. Very clean studio. Yes basic but you get what you pay for. These studios are in an excellent quiet location are roomy and clean with comfortable beds. the restaurant and pool are fabulous easy to get a sun bed. Pool area very comfortable and clean. Would definitely use again. Thanks to the timmis family

  Good value accommodation, great location, excellent hosts and amazing food

  We had an absolutely fantastic stay and highly recommend the Apostolis. The apartments are clean, functional and extremely good value for money. The Tremmis family are terrific hosts and do everything to ensure that you are made to feel welcome and that you are well catered for. We came at the end of the season, so much, so that towards the end the pool area was officially closed. The owners could not have been more accommodating and ensured they gave us access and essentially giving us a private pool area. They certainly didn't have to and it is a great example of how they go that little bit extra to ensure your stay is as good as it could be. The family also run the Inixis restaurant which is outstanding and, in our opinion, the best place to eat in Pefkos. We have eaten is many restaurants in the local area and still rate this as number one. They have an excellent range of food, we have never had a poor meal and the service is personal and professional. Several prawn dishes are amazing and the grilled octopus is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten. Can't wait for next year.
