    Great accomodation with a little lack

    Flat is more privacy, homey feeling, modern interior & kitchen, comfy bed, my unit on ground floor has backyard which is good for barbeque, close to train station, tram, and chapel street 'famous for pubs and local clothing brands, free parking for 1 car. Downside: i can hear people upstairs talking and moving furnitures, sound of drainage in bedroom, rolling curtain isnt good specially when sunny, old noisy aircon.

    Nice to be back

    We have been guests at the Apartments of South Yarra for 10 out of the last 11 years. On our return ro Melbourne we were struck by the enormous amount of new building and this is true right up onto the street where the accommodation is situated. Fortunately the 24 hour working day had been finished by the time we arrived, so that was no longer a problem. As usual the desk staff at the Claremont Hotel were welcoming and helpful and any requests were dealt with. The accommodation remains simple and regularly serviced though some of the plumbing fixtures are showing their age. However that is a quibble: the flats are very well placed, reasonable in price and well run. We will no doubt stay there again if we return to Melbourne.

    Great place to stay

    Stayed long weekend so no construction noise a def plus, could not hear any trains, we had apt 11 furtherest away from train line. Apartment modern, clean had everything you could need for short stay. Had wedding in Botanical gardens, so was an easy 2km walk. Super king sized bed, very comfy. Check in easy although parking is a bit scarce to get near The Claremont. Highly recommend.

    perfekt stay to visit Melbourne

    good Location, only 600 m to the train to the city and 200 m to the tram, close to city, botanical Garden and Albert Park an St. Kilda. Good rooms, Kitchen, dining room, sleeping room also shower an facilities

    Good simple accomodation

    Nice apartment very close to local shops and restaurants. Only drawback was having to collect the key from another location which was a 10min walk away. Otherwise a modern clean tidy spacious apartment
